Many thanks for selecting my image, "Christmas Greetings," as one of your esteemed choices.
Thread: Getting emails for favorite artist uploads that doesn't exist | Forum: Community Center
I seem not to be receiving email notifications when anyone comments on, or favourites any of my images. Is there anything I should be doing? Has the service been discarded? Or are you still working on it?
My thanks for any clarification you can give.
Cliff.

I'm baffled by the new format; navigating to individual galleries is a nightmare, the viewing statistics have disappeared, finding currant uploads by other fractal artists is something I've not mastered. In summary I see no worth in uploading further mages to the site. No one would see them - but maybe that explains the absence of viewing stats. Zilch becomes standard.

Getting old differs from becoming old. Attitude is the difference - I just wish the body would keep up. You're giving it a kick, insisting on being in charge. Ancient bodies are usually the better for being pointed in the wanted direction, though its nice to see caution ensures a needful gentleness. I wish you luck and a fulsome quantity of happy days.

Hi Corrie and Len, and I thought troubles only came my way! Right now it's the computer and has been for the past five weeks. The body usually gives misery when walking out of doors. Maybe it likes not the food I buy at the local supermarket.
Anyway I'm glad you are both on the recovery trail.

Strange, I'd never been aware of such links so can hardly miss them. I do see DA and Rendo as two competitive entities and its good for everyone that both exist. Actually I do have a small gallery at DA but haven't posted anything there for quite a while. The place befuddles me. Even visiting there has become a chore, for familiarity becomes puzzlement as things change. Still, that's me. Must say one of my best friends came from DA. Alas, she is now in dire health.

Nice to see one of my pics amongst the selection - thankee!
Just a thought, isn't there some way of advertising the monthly choices a little more widely? This seems particularly sensible now the frequency has been reduced. Rendo does seem to have started contacting folk on a daily basis so a wider usefulness seems to be a natural progression.

Thread: Why don't (more) artists want to collaborate with writers? | Forum: Writers
It depends. The memory becomes substitute if you buy not a replacement, and it has value. You also reaffirm the power of cause and effect, and this brings greater confidence in outcomes as you venture into the unknown. But the real achievements arise if you are inviegled into buying new to sustain the roundedness of the collection. Thus you place more dosh into the hands of retailer, publisher, artists, and so contribute to their well-being. You place your "stamp" on their lives so to say.
Now can you cope with the puffed-out chest, and wear and tear on strained shirt?

Ah Simon.
All records are there to be broken, so wrongness becomes an achievement - whether for the best is another matter?
Congrats!

Hi Simon,
My slow brain is pondering this: "If you succeed at being wrong all the time, does that make you right?"
Logic should always give way to the opposite, for thus resides excitement.

Thank you for selecting "Curiosity" for the weekly collection.
Thank you too for the hard work so consistently pursued in the inevitably needful, close inspection of all of the fractals posted to the gallery each week. It would be of benefit if we all did the same but life throws temptations from all directions and the hours insufficient to cope. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Just to say a "thank you" for Muscle Man being included in the selection. My computer is now running around the room shouting "He needed me. He heeded me. But then he feeded me."
It's scattering iterations everywhere.
Glee from a computer is so unbecoming (whisper).
