I started with Poser 2 and upgraded ever since Poser Pro. Even though I use 3D MAX and MAYA, I still come back to Poser for those quick images. Poser seems to work best for our website comics. Can anyone tell me if Larry Weinberg will be making the next generation of Poser? Long time Renderosity member as well.

I wish to express my appreciation to all the insightful suggestions. I will be taking your suggestions under advisement in attempts to ensure that I build a meaningful credit page.

martian manhunter: I have P6. Is there something I need to change to make it see the other runtime. This is a good concept. Acadia: Excellent suggestion. How often I tend to overlook the most obvious of solutions. Thanks to you both.

To your knowledge, is there any difference between Maya 6.0 and 6.5 pertaining to fbx transfer? I have only 6.0 and when I did a transfer my system locked up hard.

Thank you so very Shogakusha-san. I have been to this site often. I did not recognize the file since my browser does not have the kanji fonts and I cannot read Japanese and there are no images, I just totally missed it. I am most appreciative of your guidance. I will be downloading the other file just to see what they are. Who knows the other files may be just what I have been looking for. Shogakusha-san, may I also ask if you are aware of any meshes that depict the following era structures. I am unable to learn more of the mesh since I am unable to read the text descriptions, Please refer to this url: http://homepage1.nifty.com/hakka/edo/3dedo/ukiyodoko/index.html Once again thank you so very much. Also, thank you Firebirdz for the alternate link. I will be coming back later for all the objects.

Thank you. I saw those. Unfortunately the geometry is not reflective of the era I am seeking.

First of all, I am an American of African heritage. I also do Political Satires for a community news website. I am NOT offended by this image and I do find this satire MOST humorous. I wish I had thought of this myself.

Text? Text??? I don?t need no stinking text instrtuction. (A play on The Good, The Bad and the Ugly). Just give me the step by step examples. I don?t care about the price. If it will help me to navigate and use all the power that Poser has to offer, I will buy the book. I will even rent the forklift to move the book about if it is going to be voluminous. When you have to work with five to eight different applications a day and each with their own laborious rollouts, you just don?t have time to be reading another text driven ?How To? book. (Now retiring from the pulpit)

It certainly is ironic that I have been experiencing ?poke through? with the Mike Suit Pak. I just been tweaking the model to eliminate the poking since getting the package. Then just today I receive an email from DAZ to download a Suit Pak update for the object file. This make the third update I have received. Is there something going on that I do not know about?
Thread: Need suggestion on fixing pose using Michael's new coat | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Follow-up: I cut my commitment short. I find the patch (or new file structure) has fixed the spike sleeve problem. However, I am still encountering a coat sleeve problem when the arm is at some extended positions, which requires extra tweaking (this is not good when you are doing animations), otherwise I can live with it. I am glad this model came out. I am looking forward to Rev 2.

Hey Gang, I just got home with a message from DAZ giving me a url to download a fix. I have social comittments tonight (darn) so I will not have a chance to work on the file until this weekend. Thanks to all who has responded to this message and those who read this thread. Even if this thread should die, I will try to post my outcome later on.
