Quote - I clicked on the Force Control video and was happy to see it's in YouTube HD... it's the first YouTube tutorial I've watched where you can clearly see everything on the screen.
Kevin
I was surprised about that too. I used to have a thing against flash video I take it all back.

Quote - I know I have always had problems with QuickTime running for years now and on mutiple computers so I know it wasn't just one.
Same thing for me with WMV. They (Jobs and Gates) shake hands in public and as soon as they walk off stage they probably have each other in a headlock, cussing at each other.

But I turned up my speakers, moved the Youtube slider all the way up, and set my system volume to max. Still can't hear above a whisper. But it's only on some of your videos. On others, they're nice and loud.
Yeah. the first few videos were a painful learning process. The initial videos were uploading at over 900 meg. I've got 'em down to 12 meg.
Not being a sound guy...I had my system set for noise reduction and auto input gain... thinking  "Oh. That must make the sound better."Â
Psyche.
I appreciate the offer ... there is an option for the video owners that allows for collaborative input. I'll send the link.

 Paul,
Yeah I looked at maybe adding closed caption on the finer points. I can do it in QT (sorry) before I upload.
But I'm such a hunt and peck typer...

Awsome work. Proof positive you don't need billions of polys to make an excellent Poser figure. :thumbupboth:

I got mine for 15 bucks. But instead of tips on stuff that I can only dream of using....it focuses on stuff I have, from people whose work I've seen, doing fantsy and sci-fi.
Thread: Where can i find cartoon poser figures like the one that comes with Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's Ming has a couple of cool freebies on his site. http://www.its-ming.com/ And if you have a couple of bucks (more than a couple on the famous ones) you can get excellent quality figures.
Thread: Os X performance benchmarks: P4 Classic vs. P5 vs. P6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Aw man...P5 is a huge leap from 4. Adding dynamics, real hair, and cloth. but the biggie is shader nodes. Which P6 improved on with the Toon Shader. Not to mention the ability to "bake" your shadow maps, keep your textures loaded as you build your render. both of them have flash export. face room, and easier joint creation. I'm looking at PC boxes too. They seem to play better with the software I like.
Thread: Buying Poser 5 (Mac OS X only)? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had 10.2 before I upgraded. And it ran fine, Only real limits I had were due to running on an older machine. G4 Mac 512 Ram. Rage 128 Video card. But, it calculated hair dynamics, cloth physics, etc. The process was slow, but you could make it to an end result.
Thread: Buying Poser 5 (Mac OS X only)? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Don't do it Rob. My P5 has been unusable since I upgraded operating systems (10.4). No return feedback from curious labs ... or Apple. Going to their site to upgrade seems to be more than the site can handle. But, it is nice to know the coders were nice enough to include error messages for just about any action you take. To their credit they have put a short sweet note up saying that P5 has issues, and they have them resolved in P6. But they don't say whether or not they will ever fix P5. I'm trying not to be bitter, but it's an awesome program when it works...I love it. But... They have the market cornered on the type of software it is. (sorry daz & hash) There is lots of money being exchanged in cyberspace based on it's just being around. And really, Ive been on board since P2, but I feel that they don't have no love for us Mac folks anymore. I think on the P7 wishlist I'm gonna wish for them to have genuine concern for perception of their product. For a product that's been out for as long as they have...they're really pulling some rookie moves. Sorry Rob, the short answer is get P6 or wait for them to fix 5.
Thread: How to get rid of James | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow Ted that's pretty cool to know...but, Poser has a setting in Preferences called Set default state. Set the Camera the way you want, l it the lights how you want and which figure (if any) you want as default. when you have everything the way you want Select default stae. BTW You can set all your cameras (back, left, right etc.) to the way you like for when you start morphing, and joint setups.
