Miss Nancy that wasn't the image in question.  Although they have now put the render back up , let me explain what the new explanation was:

"The image was not pulled because of thumbnail nudity, it was pulled because the thumbnail didn't accurately reflect the image inside."

But the thumb that is now up is the modified one of the first one...I'm posting my last image here this evening (at least for a while).  Not only was the image pulled when it shouldn't have been (nudity in thumb) then the second explanation was given , when it was restored instead of placing it back where it was pulled from it placed whereever it would have been on the line up...page 5 (if you have that max amount of images in your settings...if you stuck with the default...it'll work out to about page 12) with a modified version of the un nude thumbnail. 

So if anyone is like me when I browse through the galleries when I get come on I go through all the galleries, once I reach a point where I start seeing images I've already saw, I stop going backward, so my image is effectively buried.  For the 10 or so hours it was down, if someone recieved an "cruzin has posted a new image" it wasn't there....

Not fair/BS/ call it what you want to call it.  When I post an image that may break theh TOS or something must be modified and it is clearly my fautl (by oversight not on purpose) The first thing I do is apologize and thank the mod who corrected me.  Because the mistake was unitentional and I do not mean to violate the TOS...that's just good manner, but when wronged....nothing.

I posted a follow up thread about the thumbnail policy, it was one that was broad and did illustrate what had happened but it was more on the specifity (ooh I need spell check) on the different thumb than the render inside .  Since it happened in the Poser gallery, I posted in the Poser forum where it was moved to the Community Center Forum because it was not poser related yet it was an issue with Poser.

To add more insult to injury....the replies from the mods were "what's the question, where's the question?" and "it was moved because it's not poser related" yet I look through the forum I see tons of stuff not Poser related...look you'll see it too...not even close. I can at least say it happened in the Poser gallery.  And  isn't a forum a discussion...not a question, sure you can ask questions in a forum but it's basically a discussion.  The second thread was moved where it would barely be seen...
Injustice? No, it's a private website, they can do as they wish...and they do.  If you're not popular enough, you're voice doesn't matter....but that horse has been beat to death.  I guess I'll stop posting in the galleries and the forums, because the only thing that really matters here is my money, and it's a buisness so that makes sense, I just miss when Rendo had a soul.

I guess i should have put OT on it...it was posted in the Poser gallery, that's poser related.  If I put OT than I guess that's ok? There was no real question just a statement of fact about what has happened in the Poser gallery, it's been moved here so no one will see it (because we both know that people rarely go to this forum)

This is an instance when someone is looking so hard to find something wrong when there is nothing wrong....the first time it happened...you know what I changed the thumb...bikini clad image with a fishnet suit undeneath it.....but I changed it, this time...stoopid (with two "o"s to illustrate the stupidity of it.

My biggest question is will they put the render where it was in the orignal line up...meanng page 8 by now or put it on page two where it was when it was pulled. 

Most of views and comments come from the initial first three pages...after that it gets lost in the mix.

No that wasn't the case, I used a completely different image when I made the thumb, and checked after I had posted it to ensure it was uploaded properly.  The image I used contained no nudity and did fall in line with the bikini guidlines...yet it was yanked.  I sent the mod who yanked it the full sized image but i't's past midnight here in Japan, i've waited for a response and have not recieved one, if they are searching for nudity in the thumbnail I used they were looking very, very hard for something when nothing was there...

I quit.

big tangents....I just don't see the need for "mixed gallery" that was my original point. but now that it has been mentioned i think if you set up in poser and render in vue...that's mixed medium, if you post work the hell out of your poser image....it's poser.  The differnces in render engines for different programs sometimes is night and day (although I just start from page 1 of the gallery and work my up without looking at categories, when I'm in a rush, I hit the anime stuff up, even bigger rush poser/anime....but it hasn't came to that in a long while.

I see Teyon's point...but here mixed medium does not mean mixed medium well at least to most.  Now if you are watermarking your image....that's not mixed medium, the same as if a painter signed his work with  a crayon. BUT to address aldp001 if you have photo's you put on a canvas and paint around them...that's mixed medium.  The point (not sure if you were joking or not...I see the happy face but just in case you weren't) ahem, the point being if you use an object created in lightwave and bring it to poser...is it poser or is it lightwave? hmmm it's clearer if the object was created in lightwave for Poser...than it's Poser....still I think mixed medium should go away...because either we don't know what it's for or we just don't care either way it's not being used in the manner it was intended.

As for Anime to me it's Japanese comics...or Japanese comic related materials.  Archie and Spiderman are world's a way in storytelling and in art but they're stil comics.  I feel Anime is a buzz word (an enduring one at that) just to explain a comic genre from a different country, American comics offer just as much diversity...but we tend to think of the Big Two (DC and Marvel) as all American Comics, when that definately is not the case.  If Germans had a different comic style drawing would we be calling it whatever Germans call comics in their native tongue.  Anime is Japanese Comics and comic related materials.  Such as Spiderman is a comic movie, although you don't see any drawings in them.
  Before the "pros" chirp in, I'm basing my thoughts on the matter from 30 years of comic collecting and being married to a Japanese woman (and now living in Japan) where if I'm reading a comic book in my car (I do that when she goes shopping) a child will see me and point and say manga....because it is.  Manga equals Comics , Anime equals Cartoon, we have two catorgories that are the same.   If any distinction should be made the categories should be  "Comics/Manga"  and "Cartoons/Anime" but I'm just nitpicking on that point.  :)
  I have several people comment on my work and say "hey, that's not Anime...it's sci-fi" because we are so used to seeing Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z, but fail to realize that there's a lot more to the genre than charecters that look that way....just like there is more to American comics than Batman and Spiderman.

Of course doing the IM thing works too!  I do well with splitting up my galleries, those who want to see the darker side of the story no where to look, and I write it all in a way that the other parts posted do enhance the story (not just watch her get sexed up...although I have been known to do that too) but it's like watching a deleted scene to a movie that makes you go...."oh, now this is a little clearer" but not needed to enjoy (if that is a good word for my stories) the whole experiance.
So while I offered the private gallery suggestion...I wouldn't partake.
On the thumbnail note...I did recently have to change a thumb on an image that contained no nudes....but I won't get into thumbgate.

Suggestion= could come from a complaint that may be justifies but offers a solution, normally thought out and understands a suggestion is just that a suggestion

Kiss @ss = someone who knows there are justified reasons to complain but would rather mock someone who makes a suggestion with no real reason why

Don' t know what the opposite of fhe above is but = someone who knows there are justified reasons to complain looks at a suggestion and states why said suggestion wouldn't work, normally thought out

I think I know way too many people in "real life" from this site...not a bad thing but I like my E life personae and my real life to be seperate plus I get less suggestions on where I should take my story next.

I still like my "view members private gallery"...mind you, I like to hint without showing but sometimes i do show, when I do it's not here, but what sucks for me is that sometimes sex is part of the story....when you think about your life, you know what sex is a part of it...especially if you're male in your 20 somethings.  Not that I can't tell a story without sex...did that views sucked but the comments were great...it was a kiddy story only two parts of it are up in my gallery so don't bother looking for it) but when I combine sexy, and hint at sex...whoa the views and the comments go up.  I just really want more space to write my text in....or post without fear of something being taken down,  I don't claim to be an artist in any shape or form.

I use poser as a tool to tell a story...unfortunately the story has to be chopped to bits because of limited text space and it's the job of the render to either fill in those spots I can't explain fully because of those limitations....I think I went off topic...yup I did.

View Private gallery in any shape or form...would be good for the artist and the site, do I want to see full blown porn...heck no, but it would be nice to have the option.  I too wander through renderotica from time to time and you can see so much skill there amongst so much ...ahem...stuff, but viewing the private gallery is one of those, hey if you're offended you should n't have asked to see.

oh and like Aikofan stated the mods and Admins are often quick to jump on something that's silly or stupid but anything that is constrructive they stay mum about.  Someone in this thread brought up the thumbnail policy...when this isn't about the thumbnail policy, but I guess that's easier to dumb down and dismiss...instead of, I don't know...let's think about what I'm saying instead of jumping to conclusions...if I didn't like the site I wouldn't make a suggestion or offer something CONSTRUCTIVE., shoot if I didn't like the site I would probably try to detract from the original idea by changing the focus to something like...I don't know the thumbnail policy or people whining when the thread had nothing to do with either or....yeah probably like...oh those guys have been here already haven't they?

Lucifer...took me a bit to understand what you meant but some of us don't have web space provided and before you suggest switching providers we can't it's a monoply here in Okinawa if you live on base, service sucks, my "high speed cable" internet feels like my slow butt dial up of  years past...1998 and that's on a good day.

I think starting your own webpage is perfect especially with the linkshare incentive but ...does the TOS extend to that? Hmmmm
