New user for C5 Pro.
I would like better water simulations (I currently use metaballs which does give a nice 'liquidy' feel but kills my processor) to include waves, rivers, volumetric materials (e.g. depth cued)
Â
Better ecosystem style module, similar to surface replicator, more on the plant room as from a number of those above.

No problems so far. Getting used to the forums layout now but some of the navigation elements are a bit of a pain. Liked being able to select forums from the navigation on the rhs.

My 2p worth. Blender is good but a heck of a lot harder to get to grips with than some of the others. Wings3d is much easier to use and the interface is clean and simple. It comes down to personal choice and while i am still getting to grips with blender I think it will be used for somethings where as wings will be used for others. The key is appropriate use - use the package that best suits your needs for a model. I still have not worked out which is which btw.

I have read all 4 dan brown books. Deception point and digital fortress are very dissapointing compared to Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code. Took me three attempts to get through Deception point and I normally finish a paperback in around 2-3 nights max. Ang25 - The church is Roslyn Chapel and its just outside Edinburgh. Used to be you could wander round the whole thing at any time but they have started running tours round the building to manage the increased number of visitors (think has been they for centuries and NOW they limit visitors????? go figure) Have not seen the TV programmes mentioned.

The castle has coconuts you can borrow. They just asked us outright did we want them , must have heard us singing!!! You're mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!! :) They are doing a lot of renovation work on it at the moment so be prepared for a lot of scaffolding. :( They were very creative with the set dressing but you can totally see the shots they used. Going off to watch the film now - followed by Life of brian (He's not the messiah, just a very naughty boy) and possibly Jabberwocky (i know its not python but its pretty close.

First Guess!!! Guess th image names gave it away!! Yes this is Doune Castle just outside Stirling in Scotland. We borrowed the coconut shells and made complete fools of oursleves cantering around the place making the hoof noises. I remember a Holy Handgrenade being posted in here some time ago and thoought these appropriate :) This was actually used for all the castle scenes and you can tell one inside what angles they used. Awsome day. Going back with a video camera and we may recreate the 'Musical Number'. Very sad!!

Now can anyone in here name the movie? or the castle?
Some friends and I went there last weekend and had a ball.
No prizes awarded other than the satisfaction of being rather clever!
;)

I have spent a lot of time in Ireland and recommend; South West Ireland; County Kerry, Killarney especially, Tralee is nice too. Cork is OK too. Bantry bay is lovely. Make sure to visit MacCarthys Bar! If you have not read it find the book McCarthys bar, I'd swear half the people in the book were in the pub. Dublin is great, Temple bar is very touristy so try Grafton street for a quieter pint. Must visit pub is O'Donahuges (sp?) just off St. Stephens Green. Great craic and live trad. music.
