I put the links to both Digital-I's T-Rex and texture pack (I hope I made it click-able). I looked at content paradise's T-Rex; it's great for the price but from what little I saw of it was not realistic as Digital's model.

I bought Digital's T-Rex model and it's an excellent model. I thought the original texture was a little plasticy (that's not real word is it) but he does sell other textures. I myself made my own texture. For the price Digital's model is a steal.
Thread: No Vue 4 Pro upgrade? | Forum: Vue
Well I don't feel to bad. I thought I missed out on a good deal. I'm going to pass on Vue Infinite. Since I have to pay full price I rather wait for the Mac version of Vue xStream. It'll cost more money but the integration with Cinema 4D will be worth it.
Thread: Vue 6 | Forum: Vue
I wonder will Vue 6 Infinite be released at same time as the standard Vue 6 or will it come out at a later date (How long a gap was there between Vue 5 and Vue 5 Infinite?). I was going to upgrade to Vue 5 Infinite but will now wait till more info on Vue 6 is available (upgrade prices etc.); I would hate dish out money now only dish out more in the fall.

Thread: Why I can't (won't) buy the Mil Big Cat | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Im a Platinum Club member and Im frankly rethinking the whole thing. Unless youre someone who buys frequently its really not worth it. In the beginning there were many things I wanted so Platinum Club was a good deal but now when I go there and I dont find a lot of stuff I need and yet Im dishing out $7.95 a month. Now dont get me wrong DAZ makes some excellent models and I will still buy there whenever theres a model I want. However unless youre buying things on a regular basis I dont think the Platinum Club makes a lot of sense.
As for the Mil Big Cat Im sure DAZ will fix it. I just hope they dont call it an upgrade and charge us for it.

LOL I hope you dont lump me in with the Dead Heads. I seen Lynes Wildcats and Im planning on getting them but I wanted a saber-tooth so I got the Big Cat. Is the Big Cat worth more than $12.96? No, at least not until they fix it. I went to the DAZ forum and according to the Platinum Club Coordinator (whatever that is) the Big Cat is being worked on. Now if they do charge extra for the fixes then your friend would be proven right and youll see me at the head of a group angry torch carrying villagers (AKA Frankenstein). At the end of the day each person has to decide for themselves if a product is worth buying. My advice (for what its worth) is that if you have the vouchers get it otherwise just wait. Sure the price may go up but by then the fixes would have implemented and you can decide for yourself whether its worth the price.

I whish I could say I did some brilliant morphing to get my saber to look like it did but all I did was move few dials around. The sad thing is if DAZ had tested their model properly they could have had the saber morph look right from the start. I did nothing to the paws so they have that funky flat look that the model came with. For the $12.96 I paid for it, the Big Cat isnt that bad although I would not have paid $27.97 for it and $39.95 it will go for after the sale is insane.

It was the Saber-Toothed Cat which finally sold me on the Big Cat. However the Default Saber-tooth morph didnt work as is. First of all the sabers were way to long. It was more like 12 inches as opposed to the 7 inch teeth Smilodon really had. Also if you used the MthOpenRoar morph His gums and teeth stick out of his skin. These problems were easy enough to fix by just fooling with the dials a bit but it was obvious DAZ did not fully test their model.

Thread: WOW! latest e-on software Press Release | Forum: Vue
I went to E-ons site and checked out their offer. Its not a bad deal but I already got everything except Poser 5 (I got Poser 4 Pro). I noticed theyre using my old Teutoberg Forrest image on their bundle page. Its nice to see my old picture being displayed even though Im doing all my work Cinema 4D now.

the export is in the old C4d 5 format!!! Since release 6 Cinema 4D file format is parametric and so cannot be read by other apps. I believe this is the reason Vue Pro is using Cinema 4D R5 format. The thread above goes into it in more detail. There is just one texture per channels for each plants..
This drives my nuts too. For now I do my texture changes in Vue Pro then export it to Cinema.
Ive been pretty disappointed with Vue Pro for a product targeted at the professional it is extremely buggy. I just got Cinema 4D XL 7.3 and its refreshing to work on app that doesnt crap out on you every five minutes.

Thread: Export files | Forum: Vue
As far as I know you cant export Vue 4 VOBs; you can only export Vue Pro VOBs. I had imported an obj object into Vue 4 I then saved it as a VOB. I was able to load VOB into Vue Pro but could not export it. To make the VOB exportable I had to bring the original obj into Vue Pro and then save it as a VOB.

Thread: Best hardware configuration for Vue4 | Forum: Vue
I Checked the CMOS and found no way running my system with one CPU other than farting with the motherboard and Im not about to that (sorry). Im sure some out here can test a single CPU Athlon.
