Poser 5 is the system I tried diabling smooth polygons, no result, maybe faulty obj.. (problem is that the form does not apply),maybe it is not suited for Poser 5, I keep only seeing the XYZ planes. Don't bother, anyway, thanks for the help. fine forum!!!

I think it's that Objaction thing that had me confused. Somewhere in the readme it's mentioned indeed. I don't have any experience with it...("Anubis searching for gold was about a texture file I could not find" hehe, and when I clicked "stop looking for the file" Anubis appeared on my screen...)Thank you for the help and the efforts in trying to decode my rather ryptical language (p.s. english is not my native tongue)...suppose I could find Objaction with the free stuff...will have a look..

Thank you very much for this swift answer but anyway at my age (53) I'm just a novice so it is not that easy. I run Poser 5 and Pboost did not work. I think it's for NT and I use XP...I get error 4 could you explain please:" copying the download folder ( I know where it is)..to the hard drive..(where do you click?) before this I opened separate folders and with Daz they got installed allright... but I think your system is easier..(not english speaking so excuse the language.. Belgium this one) o.k. nice the reactions on this forum, creativity is what man keeps going...

Maybe check the tutorials here on this site or from 3D worlds or try the included handbook (help button). This last one is not for print but there is a printable edition on the net (376 pages) Checkout Render and render options in the taskbar. You can save poser files in the classical windows way and when you "save as" you have 1; One file saved as a poser file (for later adjustment you see the poser image next to the file) and 2.after that there is one saved automatically asa jpeg image file. Check out also the export and import possibilities from the "file" menu. Just a newbee myself lost in labraries.
