Well Shannara.....I'm sorry to hear you are having the same problems, but at least it's not just me. Corel has been less that helpful, I must say! Sigh, I will just make due with Bryce 4 till a patch comes out. Then I'll give them a second chance. If it don't work then.....well, I will have a copy of Bryce 5 for sale!!!

NO! I got it and cannot use it. There are some old objects I have that KILL the program along with my computer. I was having to save every 2 seconds. When it did blow up.....and it ALWAYS did....I had to reboot my computer, uninstall Bryce 5 and then reinstall it. I kept calling support, they said I didn't have enough ram.....I have 768 ram! PLENTY! My computer was BUILT to be a graphics machine! I am now using Bryce 4 again, feeling the sting of $150 blown out the window!!! Mind you, this is just MY opinion, but other people have been having similar problems! I would see if you can try it out first.

Hell yes I'm having problems. Bryce locks up when I used 2 of my plants. I deleted them, and none of the others cause the crash. I have noticed that the more intensive the pic gets, the more likely Bryce is going to crash. I have learned to save every time I place something new into a scene. A pain, but at least when I reboot my machine, my work is still there!

Well, it seems to be a heavy graphic related problem. It usually occurs when I use a lot of grass or trees, so I guess there is a bug with graphic intensive scenes. Thanks for all the responses. It helps me get a clear view of what's going on. I am going to call Corel support in a day or two. I will let all you know what I find out! Annette

Hey bromyaur. I like the pic very well. As for the water color, have you tried playing with the skies? I know you have blocked it out with the water, but it still affects the scene. If this sounds stupid, please forgive me, I'm still learning the ropes of Bryce myself. I do know, that I often spend more time flipping through the random sky generator looking for that perfect look then I usually spend on the pic itself. At least its worth a try. I hope this helps. Any info you get out of the guru's who live at this site is going to be terrific. There are many talented people here who LIKE TO HELP! Amazing!
