Thanks for this one.  I asked all over and everyone said it couldnt be done.  I had the trouble of a backwards alpha map.  I just needed to flip it, and was told the only way was to take it into photoshop.  Will work on this tech tomorrow. 

Thanks for the info.  I guess I will do large renders instead of the 800x800 squares I have been doing.

I really hope they do get something for exporting from daz to poser.  I have poser 7 and daz and I find that its easier to set up a scene in daz.  But i also like the mat room in poser.  So I would love to have my cake and eat it too.  LOL  So to speak.

I think Daz Studios has some in their freebie vault too.  Not sure though.

Actually V3 is no longer free, but M3 and Aiko are still free.  And with the download of Daz Studios you get a really nice set of freebies.  Not to mention the weekly freebie, and i think there is still a content starter pack for free there too.  And not sure but i think you can get V4 for free if you sign up at artzone.  Its Worth checking out to say the least.

After working for about 6 hrs I finally came up with that glow to my liking.  Was hard to do it but I did.  I posted the image in my gallery here at rendo.  I really want to thank all those that input their ideas, without you I would be bald. LOL.

Thanks!  My chipset was ok for doing the basic 3d stuff, but I am now building quite a library of 3d programs and my poor dual core is gonna have a heart attack.  LOL.  Again thanks for the info.

I Just got Poser 7 and I have vista.....no problems other than perhaps a need for a better graphics card.  LOL  Which by the way can someone recommend one that is fairly reasonably priced?

Funny thing, I d/l the newest one and am not having that problem now.  So might have been a bad version for my PC.  But thanks anyways.

I am running P7 and D|S 1.8 on a vista.  and depending upon the complexity of the scene and if I have cleaned up my caches and other little pesky space eaters everything runs fine.  I love d|s cause its easy to work.  And was alot easier to learn than Poser.

wonder if i dare re d/l it.  When it first came out it loaded up fine, but when it came to loading a figure it would just shut down. Did anyone else have that prob with the first release of 2.0 and if so has anyone tried this new release?  I personally dont want to have to reinstall it over and over again.

Other than the occasional stall, but that is only cause my graphics card needs to be better than the chipset one.....I havent had any trouble with P7.  Well also user error might play into that too. LOL.

First of all I realise this topic is somewhat old now, but sadly I have just found it.  Art is conceptual, it is in the eye of the beholder.  What one person finds as art another will see as trash.  I feel because of this our children should be taught the basics but not graded on it.  And the same goes for people who use Poser, D|S, Bryce or any of the other 3D programs out there.

If WE all liked the same type of things this world would be a very dull place.  I for one use alot of nude women pictures as reference for posing.  Does that make me a pervert?  Nope.  I am a Provert.  LOL.

Seriously, if anyone redicules you cause you are artist then turn the other cheek and walk away.  You have a talent for capturing something on the pc, or on paper that they dont and therefore they are just jealous.
