Thread: Holiday Contest 2016 Now LIVE | Forum: Contest Announcements
I think I asked this elsewhere but can't find the post now. What is the difference between the 2d and the 3d contest? I mean, we are not uploading a duf or anything for the 3D right? Or is the 2d one only for things created in a art program like photoshop but does not use a render? I'm asking because I am not sure which contest to enter. Am I allowed to use photoshop postwork on the rendered images? Totally confused.~~Elisabeth

Perhaps I'm just being dense but what is the difference between the 2D contest and the 3D contest? I went so far as to look at the Halloween contest winners to see if I could figure out the difference from there. Still not sure. I thought maybe the 2D was done without using a render engine to create an image to work on top of, or maybe the 3D isn't allowed to have post work.
