Thread: (OT) Let's share some laughter :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
**A bartender was working one night when a customer caught his eye. The customer had his left hand up to his ear talking to it. The bartender walked over to the man and asked him, "what are you doing?" The man began to tell the bartender that he was an inventor and he had invented the first hand phone. All of a sudden his hand started to ring, "hold on a sec," he told the bartender as he pulled an antenna out of his finger. "Hello", he said, "I'm at the bar honey, I'll be home in a bit." "That is really something", said the bartender and went on to his business. A little later in the evening someone came up to the bartender and told him that the guy who was talking to his hand was in the men's room acting pretty strange and that he should check it out. When the bartender walked into the restroom there was the man standing, facing the wall with his hands outstreched and legs apart with his pants and underwear down to his ankles with a strand of toilet paper hanging out his butt. "What the heck are you doing?" asked the bartender. "Hold on a sec", said the customer "I have a fax coming in." **

I just tried it Acadia and it took me to the link I posted. Maybe because you live in Canada you have to go through Microsoft to get to it. LOL just kidding :). It does seem to work for me.

Thread: Sometimes I really feel like an amateur | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Its like someone else stated that some of these pics and animations might have a team of people working on it. Some of these people are true pro's at what their doing. It shouldn't make some of us feel all that bad about what we are turning out. If you as a artist is truly happy with what you are making thats all that matters. I've been doing digital art for 2 years and each time I finish a pic I notice that I'm getting better and better at it (maybe not to others but I notice it lol). Like the song said "Don't worry be Happy". :)

It amazes me how close to real some of these artists and get but on the other hand look at the software they are using its not the low price stuff and maybe how long they have been doing this.

BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER!! Just like the others had commented if your pleased with the picture that you have done thats really all that matters. Eveyone see's things differntly, what one might see in his/her work and might be trying to convey, others might not see it, thats the great thing about art. I have seen work in here that might need alot of improvement and it might have 500 viewings and 40 comments on how great it is, and the picture next to it might be very pro. done and get 50 viewings and 0 comments. Just be pleased with what you do and if you get a comment be happy that at least someone cared enough to say something about it.

Thread: Looking for someone to grade my work :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I myself find it very hard to get anyone to comment on my work I might have 250 some views but not one comment. So then you as an upcoming artist wonder? "is it done right or does it look good or not"? And I'm just as bad as others for not making comments like I should. So just maybe when we do view someones work we should leave a comment. (sorry just had to say what I feel.)
