thanks again for the quick response to my questions. I appreciate the help. I get the sense that the app that you like the best is this new Marble Clay so that is definatly one I will take a look at. I went to the site though and was curious - I don't speak Japanese. Is that going to be a problem? Have you found any info on this software posted in English?

Thanks Poppi! I will go looking for these. You don't happen to have URL's for Marble Clay do you? Also, I take it you don't make use of any of the more popular commercial packages (3d Studio, Ray Dream, etc). Is that because you find them to be overkill for your needs? If the ones you list are easy to use and will handle my limited modeling needs for Poser then that would be OUTSTANDING! I'd love to NOT have to pay 1500 bones for 3d Studio to get this complicated monster package, 98% of which I would never use. Any thoughts?
