Take a cue from D|S on interface efficiency. Poser 6 just crawls in startup time and window loading. Second, more advanced animation controls would be a huge plus--i.e., as mentioned above, the ability to see multiple morphs, movements, and bones on the timeline at once. That's been available elsewhere (e.g., Maya) for years, but Poser's basic graph animation capabiilties haven't changed a bit since version 3.

Strixowl, DAZ has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you tell them you'd rather "return" your latest purchases and spend your voucher on the Mike 3 Body Suit instead, I'm sure they'd do it. As for me, the $30 voucher was great. I got the Millennium Kids clothing packs (including the girls' morphing version) and still had 12 cents left over! :-)

Don't forget the PowerMac G5s! It'd be great (if I had one) to have a 64-bit optimized Poser or Studio to go with it. But yeah, market saturation will take a while. Still, within a couple of years I'd expect to see G5 iMacs and laptops available....

Hm.... None of the pictures show up on my computer. Tried it with IE, Netscape, and Safari. A Mac thing, mayhaps? Or have the pictures been removed?

Bear in mind too, that although a G5 is rather expensive, a comparably equipped new PC--none of which are as fast as the G5 yet--will actually cost about $1,000 more when you factor in the cost of a SuperDrive, etc. Of course, there's still software to consider, and it won't all be optimized for 64 bits right away.... My first-generation PowerBook G4 is great for most things, and still the envy of most PC users at my school, but it can just barely run Mimic 2 and WarCraft III. I hope I'll be able to add a shiny new G5 to my household within a year, but I need to finish school and find a high-paying job first. :o)

Quite nice updates, aren't they? I'm also happy to see Gordana's Legionnaire textures moved into Special Interest and discounted. Methinks I'll have to buy them now.

Right, sandoppe. The installer does a search, tells you "file found" when it locates M1 or M2, then proceeds to install M3. But it doesn't overwrite anything.

Hmm... Is there going to be an extra 10% discount for buying both morph packs together, as there was for Vicky 3?

I don't think DAZ said M3 would be out the very first minute of 9/10--just that he'd come out some time on 9/10. And I'm presuming DAZ goes by the time in Utah (MDT), so they'd be two hours behind the U.S. East Coast and an hour ahead of the West Coast. It could be that our Aussie and Eurasian friends won't get to buy M3 till it's already 9/11 in their time zones. I just hope that DAZ can handle the server traffic when everyone rushes to buy M3 and assorted accessories as soon as they go public. ;-)
