I'm having trouble opening images to full size at Rendo - anyone know why, or have a workaround?

It was a pleasant surprise to come home from work and find my image 'Stone Chip'  has been included in this week's FWW - made my day. :D

I can't say that I've had any of the problems other Apo users have experienced with the 2.08 release (my 1.2GHz PIII still takes roughly 12-24hrs to render @1024x768), however I am aware from the mailing list apophysis-subscribe@lists.fractalus.com that some users are experiencing a variety of issues (3rd party scripts not working etc.).
The purpose of my original post was just to let members here know that the 2.08 release was available. ;)

Not sure if it counts as a computer, but I had one these as a xmas present when I was around 9/10 yrs old. My first actual computer was an A600 HD

Great to hear this is on the 'to do' list. A question though; will contest mods allow for time differences within contest deadlines? (ie. will they have a clocks for all regions or will members have the ability to check with what is 'Renderosity Time'?).

I can think of other permutations of this, but you get the gist.

Thank you for the 'heads up' I wouldn't have known otherwise.

I can be a bit slow sometimes.

I'm an FF user and have not come across this problem, whenever I find things going astray I usually run trendmicro's housecall online av n mal/spyware checker to see if I've picked up some stray net nastiness and it seems to pick up things my standard av misses.
I'm not saying it's a cure-all, but it's worth giving a try - find it here:
