No I think it hard to believe when you buy a version of Poser 5 and the do not make an update for it to work. They force you to buy poser 6. So why should I be happy about that.

There is also no excuse the lack of update an version and supporting it. Well isn't it?

So what you are saying is that its okay for a Software vendor not to support a program, but I have to buy a new version, that is not helping me a lot when using Vue infinite. Right?

Think in the position of the customer. I think it is very bad to discontinue support for a program while there are so much problems and things not working in Poser 6. That is not what I say customer friendly.

Well some research on the internet... Poser 5 is not fully supported for OSX 10.4 And thats great! I think this is a bad thing. You have to upgrade to poser 6... Well thats a nice tought! But hey I also use VUE 5 infinite.. and guess what.. Thats aint working with Poser 6 YET... I guess now I know why people use pirated copies. If this is the support I get when you buy software... Could something please give me one good reason why i bought those software products. TIA Heck

I think Renderosity have to do something. Sites and a community like Renderosity uses a lot of bandwidth and need up to date hardware to keep up the demand dor such a community. So it has to do with hardware or maybe the structure of the database/php design. Well I could not see (because i do not have this kind information) if there has been changes. Also I do not have any input regarding the kind of use the community has at this moment. What should be done is an open answer from renderosty regarding the situation. What is going on? We are all familiar with the turtle speed at this moment and my guess is that the pleasure in viewing the work of others has no use when you are frustrating in sayinh those bad words when an mysql error is popping up or load times are not acceptable. So if this community wants to live... well things must changes or else the merchants and posters are leaving.... No sales when there are no visitors because of this slowness. Maybe its time for a payment per month like Deviant-art...

Thanks for you reply svdl. Is it not possible to change the values of the texture images, or should it always be done from within the textfiles (e.g. while rendering?). It is a lot of work to search/replace the textures in the file. And a variable setting would be a great thing. TIA Heck

its build 275986. Only poser was running. System is 10.3 latest till today... 3,5 Gb Memory and its a dual G5 2GHz

euh rendering at better quality is an option, and will do that shortly... The rest you mention is new for me ;(

No its not kozaburo's. But are there hair type that do not well render in vue?

Thanks svdl, I was also looking into the anti-aliasing options, only could find the texture anti-aliasing. But not with any real progress . The hair still looks like 'robe'. I am going to try your suggestion! But I wonder how all the vue guru's doing there hair done in Infinite, if this issue remains.

I read this stuff about the external runtimes. I would like to minimize the poser startup time and use mutliple (different) runtimes. I experimented with some batch files copying libraryprefs and starting poser, but i do not get the whole idea. Sometimes it seems it does not work. Does anyone has any idea's what the best solution should be? TIA

I googled alot to find some answers or directions. What i realy would like, is a way to get the same rseult in making these. The way Curious Labs displays Brians (very nice and beautiful) comic book pages, they suggest that you could make them with Poser 6. I think thats not the case. And you should do A LOT of postwork in Photoshop. Hopefully someone corrects me if i am wrong. But I guess Poser is not able to make these. And if Brian renders in 3DS why suggest it is made with Poser... TIA again
