Great images  :) Congratulations to all !!

The best solution to this problem is to upload in a smaller view , so people can not quite capture the essence of a design, or one can water mark their image to prevent theft of their creation. It seems they have a point about this, but I have gallery sites that prevent this themselves as far as locking out right click. It is a good point, but we must all protect our own work if we worry about image theft.

There is a really cool filter that comes with Photoshop , called plastic wrap. I have used it before to give a sheen to my images . First , I isolate the image using the lasso tool and then I use the filter . If this doesn't work , simply make a layer of the image that you want to have shine , then use the filter on it and adjust to your liking. I guess that would be the one I would use for this effect.

If you just want to give it a twisted look , you can use both the smudge tool and the burn tool in Photoshop. First the smudge tool to redefine the lighter areas of where you want to make a twist. Then the burn tool to shade them in so that they have the right twisted feel. Liquify will only move it from one direction to another , however, you can move in the sides with this tool if you think it is needed. I have never seen anything that would actually twist an image , but perhaps you might find a filter in flaming pear that could do this. I know that they have many. :)

What all of you don't see...is the simple fact, if a person didn't want to comment , then they wouldn't.I don't always comment on everyones designs. I comment because I have a feel for it somehow...so the point here is, whats the point?

I have a question ? If you have a fractal program that creates 3 dimensional Fractals, why couldn't a person post them on the fractal gallery? I mean, Chaoscope is a recognized Fractal Program and I can produce 3 dimensional work there. So what I am to do in this situation? Not only are my designs in danger of being ousted from this gallery, so are all of those who use xenodream program or any number of other programs which produce 3 dimensional fractals. Somehow I get the feeling that there is so very little that this board is willing to accept. Soon all fractals will be only designed in one program and slated to all look pretty much the same. I am not trying to change the rules here, but whats the use of being creative , when you don't allow us to create? I can not settle for a straight out of the generator design. I want to use what I have and try to form something unique from it. I believe that a lot of us do as well, but if a person uses a fractal program and happens to create a 3 dimensional piece, why not allow that as a fractal design? Where does one person draw the line ? When you used this apophysis design to make the letters, and even I could see that it was the apo image in the lettering , should that take away from the focus? The lettering is only the form of the image. The art says something and should be a statement of the program used , and that was apophysis. So why move it ? I am confused :S
