I been away from using Vue for a few years due to sickness in family. Had to buy a new computer with Windows 10. I have found all my Vue versions from Vue 4 to Vue 2014 I installed Vue 6 after getting activation key from wabe by email. For us with older versions of Vue it looks like a one time key would solve a lot of problems. Will install vue 2014 and see if can get a key as fast as tthe one for vue 6. Got my key with in 24 hrs which was fast.

I have vue 10 installed but it works as it should work.  Not sure if a bug or a setting.

Typical e-on answer.   A better answer would have been we can give a link for the missing vob that was needed.  A partly finished scene is not what people expect, Or at least not what I expect. 

 I want reply no more to this problem.  Thanks for your reply which I had already heard from tech.

It amazes me that that that scene was released knowing a lot of people didin't have that vob object.

 Yes I know how to do what you said to do but I still feel we should have gotten that vob with Vue 9 content download.

To me it is a bug that was not addressed when I reported it.

I am using Vue 9 Infinitie.   I reported to tech that the Promenade scene ask for a vob that is not with the content download for Vue 9. It is missing the ObjectextensionTrunck_3_24.vob.  I asked tech to fix this and got a reply it would not be fixed that it was not important.

 This still upsets me that it don't work as its suppose to work.  I am holding off on Vue upgrade untill I read where a lot of the problems are solved. Not sure right now but I think the hobbiest are about at the end of there run with Vue.

I am glad to see someone from Vue finally in these forums trying to address some issues that others are having with Vue.

offrench, thanks for your honest opinion of how Vue 10 uses memory and load times.

 If e-on can improve the render times it looks to me like they could fix memory leaks or what ever is causing the slow down in using vue if one adds many objects to a scene.

I am in no hurry at all to upgrade to Vue 10. Will continue to watch the forums and get user input on it before I spend that much money for something that needs more improvement in memory use and load time for objects.

Thanks for the information.  I have been holding off on Vue 10 untill I hear more about it like your comments.

 I have been disappointed with Vue 9 Infinite because it is slow to load objects and other saved stuff.  It takes to much time between loading something and then being able to move it around in a scene. The render time of simple scenes take what I think to much time to render.

Has Vue 10 improved on this.

I am using a Quad core the same as in your bench marks. I have 8 gig of ram and using XP 64 bit.

I still use Vue 6 alot because it is so much faster doing things than Vue 9.

I am not going to build another computer just to be able to run Vue when other programs run just fine on what I have now.

What I expected.  They sure have a way with words.

Being old school I just hate to pay for something in advaance.  I have been burnt before in such things so I guess I am a little leering and prefer to get what I pay for at the time I pay.

 I keep thinking of what would happen down the road if another company were to buy e-on or if they were to get to a point they could not survie any longer.

thefixer, have you ever seen e-on do something that was not complicated.........
