""Now if I replace it with this code it should not work right?"
Figure 15
BODY:15
No, actually it is more likly to work, as the root of the problem (if my assumptions are correct) is Poser's failure to update the actor number in the slaving code correctly. In other words if the figure with the ERC that is not working is the second figure loaded, then the problem may be that this figure is using an actor number of ":2", but the slaving code is still using an actor number of ":1", and thus pointing to a master channel in the first figure loaded, rather than to its own master channel. "
I thought this is exactly what I should be trying to do. I was trying to make the first figure the master at all times.

oh, yes, the FBM morphs work perfect when tested here in P5 at home, when the figures are loaded alone. They work off the valueParm in the figure its self, like it is suposed to. What is crosstalk, I mean I have heard it talked about sinse I started modeling poser stuff. But not being a big time user, I have been lucky to stay pretty much clear of its effects, so excuse me for being dumb. What is crosstalk?

Les, I would be happy to give you a link to the clothing package. This is the first in a series of products that I will be putting out with a team of three members. We are making this outfit fit five characters in seperate packages. The first package to be completed is for Laura 3. So Laura 3 is the character I am conforming to with my clothing. The FBMs are being injected just as DAZ has set her up. The clothing I have built for her have only Muscular1, Tone, and HipNarrow morphs installed into her clothing. There are four pieces of clothing, a top, skirt, panty, and boots. Muscular1, Tone, and HipNarrow are three standard FBMs that are purchased in a morph package by DAZ, then installed. The morphs are injected exactly the same way we do V3. Each artical of clothing has morphs that share the same name as the figure. I tried to set up the code so it would follow the value of the valueParm in the Laura 3 figure (which is loaded first). Yes, I have tested this all here now and I have tested this in P5 and got it working, but I am still getting feedback from testers that this or that clothing is not doing what its suposed to. I am loading Laura3 first and conforming clothing to her, then loading the clothing one at a time and it automatically conforms and reshapes just like it should here at home. Then I am getting reports that the morphs in two of the clothing figures are working and two are not. I then examine the code again and see no difference. I am trying to make my clothing conform automatically to the first figure loaded up. by the way, here is the code that I am using now recomended by Grimjerk, who is on my team. This is the only code that seems to be working so far. I never heard of the usage of conformingTarget, but this is working at home. I think the main reason that its working is because the :2 instead of the :1. targetGeom Muscular1 { name Muscular1 initValue 0 hidden 0 forceLimits 4 min -100000 max 100000 trackingScale 0.0052736 keys { static 0 k 0 0 } interpStyleLocked 0 valueOpDeltaAdd conformingTarget BODY:2 Muscular1 deltaAddDelta 1.000000 indexes 2009 numbDeltas 2009 deltas

The skirt was a challange, much more here than meets the eye. The pleating is pretty much hand made with my own strange methods. It is in a sense two skirts in one, because I had to make individual outer pleats and inner pleats and then connect them to give it a very real look. There were no "automatic" methods of getting the pleats to look like this. Also, I would like to add, that I tend to not do much mirroring, that is I like to make my models a little different on both sides, you will find this in the skirt as well as all you see me do. For instance, this skirts pleats are not mirrored, they were modeled indivdually all the way around for asymetry realsim. I also modeled in the stripes in the skirt. Of course, stripes can be turned off by the user via material zones.

Thank you, I have already tried to save to library and reload yesterday and that didn't help. I never tried shutting down poser. I just thought I was overlooking some detail in my bone making. Well today when I restarted poser and added the bones that were giving me trouble yesterday and now its working okay. Thank you guys. marty

Grimjerk is working on body morphs for the products. I have asked him to do some research on other top selling products and come up with a nice mix of pbms/fbms. I am sure that there will be plenty of breast morphs so don't worry, lol.
As far as a while frame of the mesh goes, I don't have any photos of that as of yet, but I will work on getting some made.
Also, I would like to mention that we have another product in the works that will follow the release of our Harajuku CheerGirl. This next product will be the "Harajuku Gothic-Lolita", and in my opinion, it is even more impressive than this product. The Gothic-Lolita is a Victorian dress loaded with detail and the dress length that stops just above the knees as in a little girl style of dress. It will include victorian boots also with little stalkings that stop right below the knees with little bows. I am working on the stalkings now and I will post a picture as soon as possible of the whole ensemble.

I am spending at least four times longer making these meshes than my earlier meshes. These meshes are high poly - I warn you - but the pay off is obvious. All of the Guild3D products will be of this quality.
The3dZone, is in charge of texturing these items and she is also going beyond normal quality standards for us. She is also in charge of all the Guild3D's promotion and store listings.
Grimjerk, is in charge of bringing these products to as many characters as he can with out having a brain hemerage. This first product, the Harajuku CheerGirl, will be made to fit AD/MD, V3, A3, and SP3 and some fbms and pbms will be added.
I believe, though this isn't writen in stone, that all the Guilds products will be influenced by the Harajuku Fashon comming out of Tokyo Japan. Why, because we are all big time anime fans and Harajuku is a way of bringing anime into the real world of fashon.
This is not a typical cheerleader outfit. It is a costume based on a cheerleader to be worn on weekend by a japanese girl to the Harajuku District, Tokyo Japan.
I and the team are discussing a Laura Conversion as well as Pom-Poms. The image is the AnimeDoll version.

Hi, I must have missed the email reminders that there were replys here.
Thank you for the reply guys, I appriciate that my words are going to good use. I have learned a lot about magnets over a period of three years. I have learned slow, so don't think you have to learn everything over night. Remember, using magnets is an artform in itself, and actually makes poser do a lot of tasks that you may have thought you needed a modeler software to do. As an artform, it takes practice and personal experiementation. As time goes on, you will load them and put them to use with ease making brush strokes. I know that some of you are just like me three years ago and know nothing of the uses of magents,...to those of you, I just want to make you see what magents are for and tell you that they will make you a poser "power" user when you use them to suplement your work and renders. They have so many uses, that I still don't know them all, I am trying to relay what I do know.
Tguyus, yes I have saved figures and saved the magnets intact but that was only because it was convenient at the time. I have never had any use for doing this, Its interesting that you have. You might want to explain what your usage is. Since I work soley on products, I usually convert all my magents to morphs.
I think conversion from magents to morphs may be a good topic for my next lesson. If anyone has any questions or topics for this tutorial, please speak up.

Lesson 5: Saving Magnets Like I have said before, the largest advantage magnets have over other ways of deforming is magnets can be saved. I like to set up Prop folders for each of my magnet sets to keep things organized. By the way, you will be saving magnets to the Prop folders. When saving a magent, be sure to select the magnet itself - not the base or zone before saving. If you have a base or zone selected before saving, the three parts will not save right. Some will combine magnets together while saving. You can do this by clicking "Select Subset" from the "set name" window. Here you can select all the magents and bases and zones and add them then save them all together. I prefer not to do the above because this could get messy. Here is how I load many magnets at one time. I usually name my magnets 01, 02, 03, etc. I then make a script in WordPad or any text editor and save it as anyname.pz2. Here is an example of what the code looks like for loading multiple magnets. You would have to change folder and file names to suit your individual needs of course. The below script loads magnets 18, 19, 20, and 21. ---snip--- { version { number 4 } readScript ":Runtime:libraries:props:V3-AD_MagsLower:018.pp2" readScript ":Runtime:libraries:props:V3-AD_MagsLower:019.pp2" readScript ":Runtime:libraries:props:V3-AD_MagsLower:020.pp2" readScript ":Runtime:libraries:props:V3-AD_MagsLower:021.pp2" } ---snip---

I have been trying to help, I did find one extra bracket, but I couldn't get the eye rescaling with a pose to work. I started over from scratch by saving a pose and isolating the eye code and copying it to a new pose file, but in all my attempts, the pose will not work for scaling up eyes. I will pay attention to the pros, maybe I can lean something. marty
