That is perfect! Now, I finally know the "formula" to figure that out! Thank you so much! One other thing... You said "400DPI would give you a file of 1600x2400. This gives a TIFF file of around 11MB"...my question is...how did you figure that out...what is the "formula"??? Honest, after this, I think I will pretty much all set! Thank you once again

Same here, I just have an old camera...3.2MP Fujifilm Finepix S3000...it is outdated :D I truly hope others can help you out! They are seem like great cameras!

I mean what you see is not necessarily the true picture...your screen may be fuzzy and so it looks like your picture is fuzzy which it may not be...

I always use "auto"....it really seems to do everything just right and I would highly reccommend it...with my luck, I will take too much time setting the focus and the flash and by the time I get everything just right, it is too late to get the picture :( What are you taking pictures of, and is there any chance that the screen may be off just a bit?

When I get back home, I IMMEDIATELY burn them on CD's....granted, they may not be the best media, I will always have a backup incase my external hard drive fails...so by having them both on CD's and my computer, I think that they should be fairly safe...

I was quite the "shutterbug" yesterday and I took 365 pictures at my Grandma's birthday party! Sorry, my little poor Fuji, lol. I am up to 2,775 pictures now....I deleted some of my pictures from the party... Just out of curiousity, how many pictures will the camera take with proper care until the shutter wears out, or is it not supposed to? Take care and GOD BLESS, Jonathan
