just shy of 13,000 photos in files here there everywhere on my comp, 45g or so.
I put my 400D on sequential numbering when I took it out of the box, it zeroes itself after 9999, I'm on my third run.......so in just under 2 years, I've taken 25,000 or so pix....deleted nearly half my shots in my 1st year of self apprenticeship lol.
There have been a couple days when I've gone out from predawn to after dusk and had nearly 1000 shots from one day..(sport orientated photography, where I'll track them with my finger on the button looking for "The Shot". )
These days I limit myself to a couple hundred., especially as I'm finally starting to shoot in RAW and it takes up a heap of memory card room.

@ inshaala...I have to say I always liked the "Twitch" part of FPS's, especially Quake2, but I'm old..36..not old I know, but in gaming the leading players are 15 year olds with pure reflexes....and I can see the definite advantage of using a tablet for RTS (real time strategy, for those not in the know).
@ Tom...Wrist degeneration is definitely the main reason I want to get a tablet, I've been gaming now for about 6 years or so...3 years of WOW included in that, thank god I'm not playing that anymore...and I can attest to carpel tunnel syndrome, or at least the starts of it...my wrist get more painful the longer I use a mouse...after 2-3 hours these days I need a break.
To those who use computers excessively...look after your wrist, you only have two........

For everyday use, I'm going to try out the tablet, but I have to agree with inshaala that for fps's a mouse is the only way to go. Last time I played one was yesterday, replaying Doom3 for the hell of it.
on an off topic, in the argument between console gaming and using a keyboard and mouse, K & M would win any day.
