No, the Preview can only reproduce a subset of what's possible with the shader nodes.

 thanks. i think i just figured it out - i just needed to fix U/V scaling and offset. Problem is, changes only show up in render, which is annoying. is there a way to fix the preview so it reflects actual texture changes?

Yes! it worked. Connie, i give 1 whole entire karma point if i could :D! you were very helpful. now, how do i create a morph inj from all that? i wanna use it in DAZ, cause it renders in like 5 seconds :D

Havent checked here...been busy last few days. First, connie, peelo, et al, thx for ur comments. i assume it was very helpful, 'cause i havent had a chance to work at it. is it a headmorph? yes, if it was any other type of klingon morph, i would find it a bit...disturbing. :)
