No, it was completely rendered in Bryce. Only use photoshop to darken and contrast a bit. I think what happened to the shadow is that I had soft shadows at 50% on the spotlight. I then used Premiun rendering with all the settings selected (i.e. soft shadows, blurry reflections, blurry transmissions, true ambience) except depth of field. I think that cause his shadow to go bye-bye. Thats ok, I am going with the render i did in Truespace (over in the WIP gallery) instead. Thank you for all of your wonderful comments and suggestions peace jquest

Very cool lamp and nice wall! Is the wall a texure or combination of 2 lattices (wall and morter)? Also liked the light reflection. peace jquest

Greeting Sipapu, I took your suggestion and darkened the picture a bit. I have place it under the Bryce Gallery. Thanks for your input. Greetings Kate, I was looking for a Artistic background fade-out, instead of a photorealistic one. I saw this method done in the Bryce Gallery here over 2 years ago and wanted to try it. Thank you for comments. peace jquest

Thank you for the comments. I did not want it to dark, because then lost the skeleten textures/bump details. tried to use torch as main light source. 2 small radial lights (set to 10 intensity each) to bring skeletons out of the shadows.

Thank you for your comments. The lighting was done with the sky, haze, fog, sun set to blue and 1 large spotlight. Spotlight has wave texture on it from bryce tech demo, with intensity set around 820. Placed just above water plane. Water plane set to 50 trans. Add white light streaks in post-rendering.
