Thanks for the updates on Mac development. I was pretty sure the new architecture was going to be a challenge even with Apple's emulator. Apple is probably enforcing the move to Metal which I gather is a real performance win but another speed bump for developers. I'm a slow adopter, so I'll probably download the first Mac version and barely use for the first month or two. Meanwhile, stay sane there guys and keep us posted.

A minor issue. Apple redid the way Mac's traverse directories. The Scripts menu item is no longer sorted. This should be a simple fix.

Apple has just announced a move to new hardware. Will Poser be moving to ARM? I gather it is pretty straight forward using XCode, but Renderosity has Mac and PC versions. There's also the issue of Apple deprecating OPENGL and friends and forcing a move to Metal. I know the viewport is just a small piece of Poser, but I'm probably buying a new machine in a year or two and hoping to stick with Poser. I've been a user since the very first version and am hoping to continue with version 12 and beyond.

The whole point of selling various assets, including figures, props, textures and poses, is so that people can use them in their own works. Some are even sold explicitly as merchant's resources to be included in new assets for sale. A license may restrict the use of assets in certain contexts such as games as opposed to image or video production, but otherwise, if the license allows the use, then it is legal and ethical. I've seen commons licenses that explicitly require attribution, but I have never encountered a pose set requesting such.

I rest my case, and actually more so in China.
I wonder if there was ever a point in human history where someone was like "what's up with this newfangled pants thing?! Damned uncomfortable" lol
Some Roman emperor did ban German garb for man i.e. pants in the city of Rome. So, yes, there was push back against pants.

Other 1950s, 1960s and 1970s possibilities include various television sets e.g. Leave it to Beaver suburban house, a Gilligan's Island like beach set and so on.

The 1950s are a good target, especially for us boomers who finally have both hobby time and money.
