personally I think you've done very well.I like the composition and think the picture reflects what religious imagery is supposed to reflect, that is a point of meditation to picture while reflecting on faith.I do not have any organized religious beliefs, but I think the figure accuratly depics the nature of crist as proposed by christian dogma.you're grandmother is bound to be thrilled. my only 2 thoughts would be 1st,think about doing youre signature in blue and making it a little more subtle,or blended into the background, and 2nd,and I'm not sure about this, but I thought the spear wound was on the right side of the body.nice work, good luck.
Thread: strange texture problems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
hey, this may offer some clarification.if you are using the basic p4 fem, morphed or not,go to the poser runtime folder, and open the templates folder.there you can see the map parameters for the basic p4 fem.if you texture map doesnt align with this,it will not map correctly to the figure.you can download the uv mapper to adjust the figures mapping or you can make a new texture map by laying the corresponding parts over the wireframe template.hope this isn't too convaluded.good luck.

Thread: A better way to spawn magnet morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
what you may want to do,is spawn a morph target for the face that includes all your current settings, set that to one and all others to zero, that way you only have to re set one morph target when creating a new one.hope this helps

I don't know if you know how to use texture maps or not,but assuming that you may not,go into render materials and see what texture map is loaded(if there is none thats o.k.)once you've determined what texture map it is,open the map outside poser in whatever graphics program you have.(posers texture maps are in the metacreations folder /poser4/runtime/textures)put your facial image over the existing texture face and align it as close as possible and save the file as whatever you want.then in poser go back to the render materials and under the texture section apply your texture(tick the apply to all window)I hope this helps,it may be worth it to go to the strike a pose texture link over on the right ,also the tutorials section will have more advanced methods.

D.O,don't know if this will help, but if you want to get rid of the seams at the chest/abdomen region, play around (it looks like you would reduce)with the Xscale and maybe Zscale of the chest until it lines up with the abdomen.also you might try tweeking the taper morph on the chest to get a heavier "pear" look.dont know if you know or not,but when spawning new morph targets, you have to turn all existing morphs in that region to zero,or they will be included in the new morph.good luck.

Thanks all,I believe that removing the bum file from the file menu has solved the problem,so until the next act of self inflicted sabotage, or the day I finally have something usefull to share, see ya.......
Thread: setting parameters back to zero | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Allerleirauh, thats what I was looking for.The only things not affected are as you say the scaling and taper controls, but The single morph target works well for what I want.

thanks for the replies.by the way Bushi, I am using your eyes, they're excellent thanks.I'm not really trying to save the pose as much as the morphed and scaled facial and body features.I guess I just want to be able to move the character through a variety of different expressions and poses, knowing that I can return any one feature to its customized state at zero. I did try the full body morph, thanks Nance, but even with that it did not appear that I could then switch individual morphs and scales back to zero.I know that Thorne has characters that have single morphs for each element, essentially thats what I would like.thanks again for the thoughts.
