Hi aeilkema, I love your Vue work!
It's true that the most of poser figures are fine with pz3 import.
It works flawlessly for me too.
I use collada when I import Daz Genesis 2 figures into Vue.
With pz3, you cannot import the high resolution subdivided mesh into Vue unfortunately.
On the other hand, just like pz3, when you make changes to the collada file, Vue would detect the change and let you know about it, so it's cool.
EnviSphere is a great tool to have in Poser, but it has no use in Vue.

Mmm, I tried the same thing you did.
Applying EZskin to v3 and save it to pz3, and import it into Vue.
As usual, I don't use Poser shader tree, and since I don't use it, Vue would ignore all the SSS info., so it should not affect the UV map at all I think.
When I rendered the v3 as you did, it rendered fine.
Whether or not I use EZskin, it didn't make any difference in Vue.
...just a little more info.

I don't know which figure you are using, but sometimes when the scene file is big, something get mixed up and wrong textures are assigned to the figure in Vue.
My work around is to save prop, environment as a pz3, and export the figure with hair cloths as a Collada file.
And then I import pz3, and collada file in Vue.
I use Vue 2014 Complete and PP14 combo myself.
Dynamic cloths usually works fine for me.
I hope this helps a bit.

Hi Nanette, have you set the Poser import option for the proper Poser SDK yet?
If not, you can go to File > Options > General Preferences >Configure Poser import
and choose Smith Micro Poser SDK (October 2013) and see what you can get.
I usually do not use the poser shader tree so I can't help you there unfortunately.
Thread: Where is Joe Public ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's too bad, JoePublic, because I find your thread always rewarding and fun.
I like your figure creation style too.
But just like aeilkema pointed out, I understand why also.
As soon as you try to share Genesis 2 topic, you and your thread tends to get shot down.
The patern is way too familier and sad.
I feel sick and tired of it myself, so I can easily imagine how you'd feel.
You can't even share some of the juiciest stuff because of it.
Well, take a break and rest up a bit and gather your spirit.
Maybe you'd feel good enough to talk again and I'm looking forward to that.

joequick, your render looks great!
Are they all Genesis based?
Wow.
JoePublic, I appreciate your sharing the knowledge of Genesis figures in Poser.
I agree, the Genesis 2 figures are fantastic.
Although I added a few jcms to Genesis 2, you can use them right away almost straight out the box.
That alone is phenomenal!

I'd like to see the FBM set to 1.0 after the morph loading.
I do it manually everytime to check the morph, so dial it to 1.0 automatically is a good thing, I think.

colorcurvature, I followed your suggestion and Hex 2.5.1.79 handled the obj file with no problem. I could use the soften tool without crashing. PML version 2012.1.34.
bwldrd, it was my misunderstanding due to my hazy sleepy brain, sorry ;)
Thread: posemorphloader - feedback? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
bwldrd, same thing happened to me with 2.5.1.79 as well, thanks for reminding me.
As soon as I start the soften tool, Hex go south and crash.
So, I went back to 2.1 and forgot all about 2.5.1.79.
But I don't have the PoseMorphExporter issue you mentioned.

I use PML with Hex 2.1 and have not encountered any problem at all.
...good to see you back, colorcurvature!

This is red viper's leotard for Aiko 4.
On the right is completely custom morphed v4.
You can see poke-through on collars and on the chest, but these are easy fix.
The great thing is how tightly it refits the clothing to the target figure.
The leg warmers for example, follows the morphed figure's leg shape and contour very closely.
It's great.
PML feature works wonderfully too.
