Sorry that didn't help. I recently had a machine that had that problem and the solution was not to mix ram. Is vue the only program that causes reboots? Do games play well on the computer? Have you turned off all power schemes and screen savers?

Things like that are usually memory related. Are you mixing memory types or brands? Try relaxing your timings for the ram modules. Or take out the ram and test each chip individually to find the culprit for the reboots.

An important factor in pricing: Pricing depends on how much the consumer is willing to pay. If no one pays the price comes down.

Thread: Terragen Realism | Forum: Vue
vue has some features but it lacks in some areas severely.
The star generator is the worse I have ever seen. The glow effect is useless in many situations.
It's clouds can be tweaked to look better but never as good as Terragen. That is why most pictures in the vue galleries use photgraphs of clouds as their backround.
Solid growth trees are ok but suffer from many problems especially when used in ecosystems.
The folks at e-on aim high but always miss the mark usually leaving their software in beta and then moving to the next version.
Support at e-on never answers why something doesn't work and their best advice usually is try the latest beta update.
In short e-on seems under-staffed which causes most of their problems.
As for vue 6 please.... fix vue 5 1st before the upgrade.

E-on history of teething problems is putting it mildly.
I expect better from e-on it seems to be getting worse.
Where is the professionalism e-on?

Thread: Cornucopia content working ok but... | Forum: Vue
I too am forbidden from accessing their web page. Sigh... I did re-download my items but they won't render over a network. Serenity now...

Thread: New Beta Update - Version 5.08 - Build 278365 | Forum: Vue
This updates work well as far as I can tell. I didn't get a chance to try the other update a few days before it. What is quaternion interpolation? When I import Poser 6 models there is a new check box since this update. What exactly is this for?
