I'm using the XTi(400d), it's pretty good considering the price. My only major complaint is the size , of the LCD screen. Like you I LOVE MACROS!! and for most cases the screen is quite sufficient, but more resolution would help alot in determining how sharp your captures really are when your out and about. In my RR gallery about the 7 of my latest images are taken with the canon 60mm macro.

Such powerful images, a glimse into the painful reality of so many.

I think that is one golden rule a man should never 'tell' what a woman should wear unless he's a fashionista himself lol. May I ask how old she is? And the theme of the photoshot? How to approach her? Causal yet professional, and since your doing a CD cover and the insides of it find out what sort of look she wants to achieve. Then ask her if she knows what she would like to wear. You also said that black and white or highley patterned is out, so does that apply to the whole outfit? or are those definately out? And doing this over the phone might be tricky, so maybe you can suggest to her bringing the outfits she had in mind and doing some test shots?

Yeah i have the same troubles since i like to photograph jewellery and perfume bottles, so i just change the position and angles of the light source and fiddling around with the exposure.

For the 2D representation, do u mean that it also depicts the same subject matter (the naked child)?

I'm really not sure, but would the fact the it is in 3D as opposed to 2D would have some kind or effect. Maybe the size of the piece, and maybe it would also depend on the presentation of the subject as well?

I heard this somewhere "sex sells, from the begining to the end of time'. Which is true. For this discussion, not meaning the act itself, but the human form clothed or not will generally attract more attention. For me personally, if a photo of a plant and person was placed side by side, in most cases i would look at the person first, whether I leave the comment would depend on my perception of it and overall impression it left on me.

I'm not really sure what you mean by adult content, but maybe the complete opposite of what the TOS will allow. Well if that is the case, then yes. Wow this is such an insightful thread.
