I read thru everyone's posts and if I am to understand correctly then: NO POSTWORK ALLOWED except for text unless you decide to challenge yourself and do that in Poser as well but I am still left wondering, can backdrops be brought in for a render or does that not count since it would have been created in another program? For example: a sky made in Bryce brought in as a backdrop for a poser girl standing in a field of flowers and then it's all rendered. Would that be against the rules?

MADMAX: you're the best! Thank you so much! You would not believe how many books, forums and emails I have sent to try and get this answer. Thanks to you, I was able to make it work finally. And to answer your question, yes, I am on Mac OS 10.3.1. Although it didn't look as well as I would have hoped, that's ok...it's just a matter of tweeking now. Thanks again! Linda

While in Bryce, under the edit menu, where it is a texture library, I tried to import my files but it would not highlight any jpg, bmp, or pict files as choices.

I just found out today that Adobe is bringing out the new CS2. I was in shock. I am motion graphics and digital artist but I work out of the home so keeping up on all this software...well, I can literally tell you that my software is well beyond $10,000 now and that's only over a 5 year span! I'll tell you something else, it really pays to be a student when you want software. I'm not anymore and I have really spending the money. I don't mind software companies coming out with great toys quickly but they should have some sort of kickbacks or special programs. Oh well...here's to dreaming. Linda
