Hmmm, I never considered animated gifs or modelling sessions recorded with camtasia or camstudio as Tutorials. On the other hand, ive learned a lot more from them than with step by step tutorials. Bayplaymirai.avi was a cornerstone to me. Ive watched it like a thousand times and that was the best "tutorial" i know. I also believe that most of top modelers doesnt care about making a tut or whatever (syomka, taron, plecxus, matt clark etc etc) so the best way to learn from them is to observe and observe their wireframe stills. Animated gifs doesnt give ya any decent directions or precise info about whats goin on i agree... but it shows instead a wrokflow. it shows martin krol makin a mistake and doin some undos. thats important to show us how mortals they are and how doable that is. Its a bit like being watching a pro modelling right next to it but hes to busy to be answering questions so u watch it quietly.... Ultimatelly, the best tutorial IMO is to watch wireframe stills and decompose them into a workflow of ur own.... what u guys say? cheers mates Loggie

Heyas Baz, Just like Teyon said (HEY MATE!!!!!!!!) it just a matter of changing a bit more ur model. As u can notice in ur shaded view, the zigomathic bone is going up arond the eye and has no end near the nose. if u isolate the bone structure via loops in ur WIP u gonna have a bone structure in that area completelly defined and ready to receive muscles and fat over it. again, its a great model u have so far. cheers loggie

Heyas Baz, I just woke up and saw ur modeling. Its trully great to see that u got it:) the structure is very well done. I specially liked the jaw structure and the way u did ther flow of the neck muscle coming from the back of the ear. I have a comment about the zigomathic bone( or the apple of the face) but im gonna make a paint over at work soon for ya. talk to ya soon:) cheers loggie

Heyas modelers, Thanks a lot for the comments:):):) Electric, they are tottaly free of joint limits so we can pose the expressions the way you want all the time. U can also create poses and save them (in XSI) and then just load the poses in the time line and animate like that.... also u can link morphs to the bones deformations and have even more subtle deformations in the exppression. ALSO again u can link bump maps to bone deformation to go extreme in details in the skin...... It is virtually limitless the options.... cheers loggie
