As far as resources go I think Im alright. 512 ddr, xp home. Its just strange than before the update if there was a prob finding the obj in geometries it just reported the fact. Now it closes me down.

I think I know what you mean. Ive just updated a Metacreations Poser 4 and now I still have that folder in Program Files, but I also have a Curious Labs folder. Ive just carried on using the Metacreations runtime/libraries etc as the opening screen now shows it as CLabs, so something must have changed. Incidentally, although the update seems to have cured my constant "caught c exception" error, I now have a problem where if it can`t find the geometries file it says "out of memory" and I lose the previously loaded object. Any ideas?

I agree with the Bryster. Its a cracking pic but I think it could benefit from being cropped on the right edge so the tree trunk doesnt show.

When I first started I found the above a very helpful site. Basically its over 80 short Quicktime movies on Bryce 5 meant for students. Almost a movie manual. Real Time Bryce 4 is brilliantly written but over here (UK) it`s nearer $40 s/h from Amazon. I was lucky, I got an extended loan from my local library. And you get to build up your muscles.(It`s HEAVY!) And as you`ve found, there`s no more helpful forum than this one.

My PC came with a Radeon 8500 fitted (+XP Home, 512 ram, Athlon XP2000)and Bryce is as good as gold. Poser is something else. Aaaaaargh.
