you could try increasing the size parameters of the legs using the xscale+zscale dials--that would increase the thickness of the legs without you needing to use or create morphs.... if you needed to you could taper the shins to fit back inside the boots....

there used to be a bug that would do it for you in poser 4.01 for the mac--if you changed a setting for one material, and IMMEDIATELY did a "pop-down" to a similar material setting, the changes would follow.
Thread: V3 Face question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
i do it this way....
1)create a V3 with all the headmorphs injected; save to a library as "face figure;"
2)create a character using "face figure;"
3)spawn a morph to the figure; i also save the dial poses to a library for a later date....
4)save the new figure--either to a new library or as a .pz3
now i can use a "morph manager-style" program to delete any unwanted/uneeded shaping morphs from the head (or just use the appropriate "remove all" poses); leaving me a V3 with the new face....
this probably takes longer than momcat's (hi momcat!) method, but it works for me....

i just applied the "miracle mag" set that came with "voluptuous vicky" and got very pretty passable results, although there are a few problems (you need to apply each breast mag to the chest by hand, and the chest needs to be re-adjusted, as vv2 doesn't use a seperate mag for that area) so if you own voluptuous vicky, you should be all set for clothed images, at least....

i go to the heirarchy manager and render the light invisible there--that ususally keeps them out of the way....
Thread: Question about remapping stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
why can't you alter the existing map front and back? or why can't you use the surface material tool to assign a whole new texture to the back of the figure (or just those areas you want to change?) the only reason i ask is because i have never had any luck creating a usable surface map using UVmapper for the mac.... i use the surface material tool in poser to "assign texures" to specific areas of my female figures to create certain clothing effects(i.e.--tight blouses, or evening gloves)and then save the modified figure to my "libraries" i have also been able to reassign the textures for areas of clothing figures, and then make them disappear by turning up the transperency, as well as re-group the textures. since the figures still refer to their original maps i can alter those if i need a custom texture.... the only downside i have found is that the shapes i can create are pretty much limited by the way the polygons are laid out in the original figures--which i'm sure you get around by using UVmapper--any suggestions on how you use the damn thing?!?!?!?!?
