Hello Vince, I am also a newbie to CS and may be bit off track, but after taking a really quick look at the tute, I remembered something I found recently which is the wealth of brushes for Photoshop out there. Fantastic results can be had quickly by downloading and then loading grungy brushes. When you have the pic, just open a new layer, choose the brush you want to use (Open up the brushes pallete and click the right hand triangle and choose load brushes, point to where you saved the downloaded brushes) and then play around with a variety of colours and sizes until you find something that looks right. These finished pics can then be used for textures. Another way would be to take lots and lots of pics of interesting textures from real buildings and then tweak them. Like I said Im a newbie with CS and hope I wasnt too far off the point. Lupus55

Hi, I have had a Graphire for the past two years and I can't tell you the amount of times I growled at myself for not coughing up the extra to get a bit more workable area. If I could wind back the clock, I would make the investment and get the largest area I could afford. But hey they are both flexible tools. Lupus55

Thank you to everyone for all their helpful advice. When I finally get my head around this wonderfully confusing piece of software and get something that I am not too ashamed of, I will post, and similarly once I can knock up a not too shabby prop, it will go into the free-stuff area. Pity about not being able to import export straight from Bryce to Poser, it would be a marriage made in heaven. Lupus55 ... The wolf not the disease, by the way.

OK. Thanks for that randym77. I have just dug around a bit more and it seems that Bryce will only export terrains and lattices. Hmmm. Gets more confusing. I will have a look at Wings3D and Anim8or. Grrr Learning Curve seems pretty steep, oh well, time to get serious. Thanks again.
