Here's to being the first to reply. Modelled and rendered in Carrara. All models except dino head (3DCafe - platinum pictures multimedia, thank you =) modelled by me. All of the texture mapping (procedural shading, really) done by me. I rendered four separate images, each with a different shader for the dino head and combined them in Painter (I didn't know how to map them properly to the model). I hope you like it!

Bless you, litst! While I can't read French at all (nor speak it, actually), I decided to check the site out. It's similar to your original head instructions (which I was unfortunately unable to follow successfully) but it looks like you added a lot more detail. As soon as it's translated, I'm going to pour over that tutorial until I can get a head that looks halfway decent. Your character modelling in Carrara is uncanny! It's amazing that you are able to get such detailed character models from this program. I'm still relegated to interiors and other "non-organic" looking objects. Thank you. - mfortunato
