As someone said above it all comes down to compostion. If thats bad it doesn't matter what medium your creating your art in, it will be bad. So lets stop worrying about what others think and concentrate on making good art.

I agree with caravaggio, its a new medium, just finding its way, and just another tool of artistic expression with it's own special requirements. I think we should all just worry about our own art. We should spend more time learning from what has come before, because the artistic principles that have been handed down are the same regardless of medium. By this I mean the basics of composition,design, color, light, and perespective to name a few. Finding the best way to communicate what we want to say through our art. All the modeling now how and technique is wothless without a good composition. I could care less about the carping of the modeling crowd, I'm gonna spend my time trying to perfect my work in my chosen medium, while being inspired by some of the great artists that use poser(and there are some really good ones here), and the other great masters from other mediums that inspire me.

Thanx Graphicfox, I do have a large version,I just resized it to be a little easier on the forum. I'll probably post it to the gallery later, probably with some more reworking, and Sixus1 I love the behemoth, I've been looking for something like this for a while. I also like the Water Dragon it's one of the best free dragons I've ever found, so thank you again.

Yea, and what is with the uploading an image problems? I just tried three times to upload something and all I get is webpage not found or busy. I give up, I'll try again later, if that will even help, I'm very frustrated!

Me, I'm trying for that, well sort of. I'm going for Frazetta, he is the gold standard for this kind of thing. I miss the novels written in this style as well. I guess what I'm trying to say is you're not alone on the whole complete realism thing. I'm not all that fond of it. I look at works done by Frazetta, Brom, and John Howe and strive for a little of their magic.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as Sirkrite, I can't get P5 to run at all. I get either stack overrun or a fatal expection. I'm only running the app only patch. I'll probably have to reinstall P5, thank goodness I put no files in it and saved them all in P4. I'm a little pissed off right now,I would appreciate any advise anyone could give me before I have to get drastic.

AMD 900MHZ 128MG SDRAM, windows 98se, and NVIDIA I had some freezes the first day ( I got my copy of P5 on monday),numerous problems on tuesday, and wednesday it all worked like a dream, I havent tried it today so we will see.

Got my shipping notice also,and checked the ETA button and I should be getting it sometime monday, I just hope I'm home when it gets here.
