Congrats to all who were honored, and my gratitude to whoever decided that my own artwork should be included alongside the great artwork here. Thank you and cheers!

It would be really good if I could upload artwork with a link in the dropdown with my username to the far right of the upper level of the screen.
Right now, I can only do so by first selecting "Galleries." Strangely enough, if I go to my OWN gallery via the dropdown with my username, there's no "Upload" link. Very strange design quirk.

Thread: Tell us what you love about Renderosity... | Forum: Community Center
The galleries often have a sense of community and supportiveness that I don't see elsewhere and I feel that vendors tend to be more approachable here than at competing sites - even if they sell their wares in more than one site. Those are my favorite things about the site.
Thread: converting poses question | Forum: DAZ|Studio

There is thread a the DAZ freebie forum about a freebie that converts poses from A3 to V5, V6 and v6, M4 to M5, M5 and M6, and V4 to V5, V6 and V7 and I have tried V3 and that also worked. It's not a quick method, because you can only one pose at the time and you have to save it yourself, but IMHO it does a better job than the commercial converters. I spent a whole weekend converting my over 300 selfmade V4 poses to V7, but it was worth it.
best regards,
Bopper
I also use a freebie script (I forget the author's name, but it provoked a lot of discussion on the DAZ forums over at the DAZ site). I found that it worked almost perfectly going from V4/M4 to V6/M6 but that going directly to V7 required a tremendous amount of fiddling with arms and hands. Sometimes I got better results going from V4 to V6 and then from V6 to V7 rather than jumping from V4 to V7. Expressions do not transfer over regardless, but that's not a problem for me because I always do custom expressions instead of relying on pose sets for that.
The downside is that it is time consuming since you have to load up both V4 and V7 then do a little tapdancing with your fingers before transferring each pose. It's something I can fill up an hour or two with on those rainy days when I am feeling totally uninspired creatively but want to do something related to my hobby.

Thread: Has anyone ever created a guitar prop patterned after Mosrite Guitars? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Thank you for sharing these. These are Gretsch, Hofner, and Rickenbacker models and they all look great. The Mosrite model I was talking about looks like this:
It has a very eccentric shape that is almost like a mirror image of a Stratocaster. I wanted to get a model of this guitar because it is closely associated with surf and punk styles.
