super saturated colors, while they look fine on computer monitors, tend to bleed on ntsc monitors and tvs. if your video editor has an ntsc video-safe filter, use it. it will make sure your colors are legal. sometimes this is not enough. you may have to manually bring down your colors using levels, or other types of adjustment in your editor. a good rule general guage -- rgb values of over 215 will look oversaturated. reddish stuff may need to be brought down even more. regarding banding, try applying a smidgen of noise to your video. this can make the banding look a little better. as a final note, your computer monitor is capable of displaying millions of colors. your tv or monitor is not. hope that helps.

dodger, due to the sheer number of images uploaded into the galleries every day, i will almost always skip over images that do not have thumbnails. as ladynimue suggested, you can go to the "edit" page from your gallery and upload thumbnails from there after the fact. you're stuff looks great by the way. ;)

you should look at vray also. great render engine for 3dsmax and the simplest to use by far. check the 3dsmax forum for more info.

poser renders everything from frame to frame. this is true with most 3d packages with animation capability. poser pro pack to 3ds max (or lightwave, i'm assuming) and a good, pro-quality 3d video board (with texture memory) will speed things up significantly.

Thread: View and Vote for Hot 20!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
i don't think there's a need to bash the people in the top 20. i think they're phenomenal at what they do. the images may not always be my top 20, but they are a sample of some really good work here. that is my opinion, subjective in all it's glory. and i really love the entire gallery and this site as a whole. there are some genuinely good and fun people in this community -- most who spend a good deal of time doing great work, who strive to improve, have a blast doing it, and have the balls to show us their creations. that said, they are all beautiful to me. simply, the top 20 is what it is -- whatever it means to you. but as long as we stay focused on "creating," we're all winners. just keep posting i say. i love to see your work. :)
