Quote - There are some WW models on SketchUp; I don't know if there is an inventing room there, but there is the Chocolate Room in SketchUp format...
Thats not what I was looking for, but that is rather interesting. Thanks for the effort any way.
Would anyone else have any ideas?
Thread: shape an object with other objects? | Forum: 3D Modeling
I don't think I'm going to require anything close to AI to manage this task, I think shrink wrap may work just fine. As soon as I figure out how to use it I will have to give it a try.
My only real concern about shrink wrap is, is it possible to effect part of an object with the shrink wrap modifier and leave the rest of the object alone? For Example I want to try to make a sort of banana people as part of my project and I need to conform the heads to be banana shaped at some parts: long pointy chin and split peal cranium sort of things, but leave certain part rather human looking: eyes, lips, and mouth.
As far as poly count, I'm not all that certain...

Quote - I see you have asked this question elsewhere, without success.
I appologize for that. I did ask something along these lines in the 3ds max section but it seemed like an impossible task using that perticular program, so I figured to ask again but this time search for an entirly new program to achieve my goals.
What I'm aiming to do is create a set of fruit themed charecters through a series morphs applied to the popular victoria and micheal charectors. I have some fruit shaped objects that I would like to take attributes form to create morphs of. I don't just want huge fruit with faces and legs, I want to try to get something a good deal more interesting.
I can go into more detail if needed.
Thread: Trying to make it fit like a glove and failing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I think the problem with this particular item is that the gloves are part of the outfit rather than a separate item.
Instead of converting the outfit to a different figure, couldn't you use Aiko4 instead of Aiko3? It would then only be a matter of adding the A4 morphs rather than doing a full conversion.
The gloves being part of the figure is exactly my problem.
I would use Aiko4, as I usually do, however some of the morphs that I am using are only supported by Aiko3.
As for no program converting gloves, crossdresser 3 does have an option for gloves. I have tried to use it multiple times, but each time I do the program crashes. I've been told it has something to do with the gloves being part of a full body suit, and not just gloves on there own.

Quote - Is there any particular feature of Aiko's hands that is essential to the final render? If not just position and parent the golve to the hand. Make the hand invisible and just pose the glove.
It's not that simple, though I have tried that. After running suit 004 through either crossdresser or wardrobe wizard, the gloves are more scrunched and twisted then rotini pasta. Each hand of the suit is a single piece of the figure, so I can't position the finger joints, or even the individual fingers, seperately from the rest of the hand, without morphing the entire glove. Even after hours of morphing parts of the gloves into a reasonable position, they are still far from what they should be.
I want to know if there is a program that can morph suit 004 from v4, to fit A3 without destroying the gloves in the first place, or if anything in poser can turn the gloves back into the shape they were, and still fit a3.
Thread: How do you put clothing on primitives? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I can't quite get the cloths to conform or collide with the wave front object, but that maybe because I am doing something wrong. I'll keep working on it.
Would it be any easier if I just wanted to get a single piece of clothing around a single prop?
The character is made up of three very large GeoSpheres, with lots of little bits in between. I figure If I can get cloths around the GeoSpheres then that will be good enough.

When I try that it gives me a dependency error, saying "the required file has NOT been found."
Does anyone have any other idea?
Thread: need help with injectable morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As far as I can tell, the morphs don't have the same injection channels, they load fine on other charecters so they can't be over riding each other, I think.
Is it possible to apply the morphs as morph targets if they don't have any geometry objects, and only have .pz2 files? If so, how?
