Looking at the feature overview, DAZ Studio Premier seems to include a lot of features which considerably enhance the users' QOL.

It is unclear what happens when you unsubscribe from Premier. Does the software revert to DAZ Studio Standard or does it stop working altogether? What about the 3D content and scenes you processed in Premier? When you use the G8 to G9 conversion, for instance – will figures revert to G8? Will dforce simulations edited separately still work or will DAZ Studio Free not be able to open the files in the first place?

There also may be artists who would like the features of DAZ Studio Premier but don't need any of the additional offers, yet find themselves paying for them anyway.

Ugh.

And I did contact the official support. Turns out it is a known problem of the current Poser build.

I've tried to prevent Poser from overwriting the Accelerators.xml file by setting the write-protect attribute. This worked ... to a point. Poser 13 is no longer overwriting the Accelerators.xml file, but it still ignores the settings therein. When I find the time, I will try out the poser.xrc route.

The only thing I can think of where this happens when you restart is what are your launch behavior settings. I'm assuming you don't have it set to factory default but if you have it as the preferred state, did you remember to save the preferred state after you set all your shortcuts?

With the help of the "assign" tab in the mat room I happily used the mat settings for La Femme and applied them to V4 simply changing the maps. Assign is a GREAT feature.

Great news. Now all that neeeds to happen is for the Poser 11 scripts to work in 12 ... I own numerous scripts by Netherworks, Shaderworks and Dimension3D I can't really do without.

Actually, the CGW "article" is essentially just the press release sent out by Curious Labs.

I am not going to distribute any proprietary geometry, that's what Patch Maker is for. Of course you are right, the patch will only work with an unmodified Victoria 2.cr2 -- but I see no other way to implement this. Any suggestions are most welcome, of course.
