hmmm im gonna try these techniques....thank you and i didnt know philC had a template im gonna have to look that up. spoke to philC a couple years ago about a similar issue tho nothing came of it. lol but i havent given up yet!! sorry took so long for a reply guys holidays were a beast.... happy holidays btw I hope everyone had a great one.

i started with a photot reference. then retyoing but i cant quite get the hang of that.however I have come up with some great result using photo reference and box modeling. Where I fall short is on how to create the straps/ laces/belts/buckles/zippers ect and make the flow into the model. then how to conform the so I can share them.

Also regarding people using items from this site to make clothing which is actually harder to do then creating from scratch ...some do but the BEST ..DO hand draw along with using baking techniques from maya/lightwave ect...and actually there are about 4 million designers and only about 2 dozen that are considered elite. To be honest most (not all) of the great ones choose not to use services such as sl-exchange or onrez., when you can set up a single location and bring in an adverage of 500 -15,000 usd per day....why would you need to share your profits with a pay service to allow people to find you easier? The BEST, will be found with or without those sites so most of the great ones choose to keep thier money.

As for How to get finished looks and templates.... try one of the resellers ingame there are a couple people that sell full perm items that are not the everyday business in a box but unique and limited to group acess only. Quality items that you can sell or use the tga files to work from in photoshop if you wish. This is a new form of resell, Contact me for more info I wont release the list here publicly because it is an invite only group and a singned legal contract is required to gain acess to the files.

lol well I personally make my living playing sl...and have for the past 4 years. It is possible and no...I have never bought lindens or even spent out of pocket 1 penny. Belive me it happens. Theres just one problem, the resident numbers have multiplied by 1,000,000 literally since i started. Only original product, customer service & time can determine how sucessful you are. It wont happen overnight. When I say I make a living, I mean a SERRRRIOUS living. However it took some time, several tv interviews....news features.....rl magazine and millions of sl customers. Yes it may take a while to make money selling items for 300-500L but there are over 19 mill potential customers floating around SL...lol it adds up. Investing big bucks in land and putting tons of cash into advertising is a misconception. There are startigies for getting free advertizing which pays off far more then the paid advertising in most cases, and what you can do on 5 bucks a month is more then you can imagine...and doing it properly, 9:10 you will only pay that out of pocket 1 time. Dont give up...I am an SL celeb... With patience as with anything it can pay off but unrealistic expectations of finding your fortune there after a few months as the media portrays is the reason people draw the conclusion that its a lie...that it cant happen. Trust me, Im living proof that it does. Good Luck! :P
