Well, I don't neccesarily intend the character for poser.. I could just as well have it end up being in 3d studio or some other program. My intent is to be able to eventually render a high quality still, so whether its poser or not I guess is starting to matter more and more. Heh, I love this place, you learn so much. So, is there perhaps and alternate forum or software package I should be looking at? Thanks again for all the responses!

Thanks! I truly appreciate the responses! Looks like I have alot of work to do :-) As far as Poser's limitations.... Should I consider alternate packages such as the new 3d studio max? It may be a tad more than what a beginner can do, tho. Thanks again!

Well, the coordination is underway. I have now got a site, some webmasters, and a few ideas of some neato little scenes. I've also got Jack K's support in that we'll have out own forum soon. Stay tuned.

Oh, of course. I am a writer, too. But the first step is to brainstorm, the writing team narrows those ideas down, and then you'll have a small team of no more than two or three writing the movie. Actually, I hope to do the majority of the writing, but for the initial stages, it doesn't hurt. I agree with you that a comitte would be tireseome and NOTHING would get done. Right now we just want to get our feet wet.

Actually, I have a few script ideas, mostly of the fantasy genre.. I wrote a script a few years back called "A Dragon Among the Fae." It was kind of my own tribute to The Dark Crystal / The Labryinth / The Neverending Story. I trashed the idea into a box somewhere because at the time, the technology didn't even exist. If we have Zygot on board for assistance, I have a few ideas already. Those of you interested in scripting, writing, direction, etc, wait a day or so and I will get this darn web page up. It'll be a BASIC and UGLY page at first, but it'll have all the basics. We'll worry about titles later, but if no one minds, I think I will take up the head coordinator, LOL.. I am not as talented in Poser and the others as some are, but I have enough resources for software liscences. Step 1. Get the web site up.. Step 2. Get a bunch of people and basic roles involved. Step 3. Animation Style - (There's alot to be said for Ultra realism vs cartoon realism... ) Step 4. Script Step 5. Storyboards... Step 6. Re-writing Step 7. Re-writing Well, that's enough for NOW.. I will have the site up soon. HEY.. If anyone wants to help maintain the site.. IE, do web graphics, be a co-webmaster, email me at mumblbox@tampabay.rr.com Thanks!

Wow, looks like this is really coming together. I suppose I'll make us a simple conference site where we can all chat.. First things first. Script development, then storyboards... After that, production gets a little nuts. AA Robert did a WONDERFUL job, and he posted on this thread. Hope he'll com onboard. Great thing is, we have alot of sale option available to us, but that's getting WAY ahead of ourselfves. First, lets come up with an idea, see if its feasable that we can actually pull it off, and go from there. It all starts with baby steps. This could be the first ever full length movie made by "ametuers" who have never met. ;-) I will work on a site and have it up in the next few days.
