Hi! Sorry for my spelling will try to get it right if I make some more stuff for poser. And if you do have a problem with some of my stuff feel free to give me a note next time and I will see if I could work it out for you. Have you checked if this is the only item that causing you trouble? You see the thing is that I didn't make the CR2 it was from a other free item thats been here for ages without any problem. --Magnus--

Hi, Wladamire, I do in some way agree with you cause it's because of all those free tutorials and free forums like this, we get such great artist's. But on the other hand there are tutorials that are almost as big and as great as any book and if some put down that time and effort, I don't see why he shouldn't try to get something back. It's like any writer I think. --Magnus--

Like to start with that I've heard alot of good things about Phil C's tutorial so it's probarbly worth it, but there is also loads of free tutorials out there one of my favorites is this one: http://home.att.net/~pmorris57/misc.html I'm working on a very basic(since I'm a newbie myself) tutorial of making clothes in C4D. But It will take at least a week more to finish it. --Magnus--

Katman: Thanks alot for getting me closer to understand the CR2_files you realy have a great knowlage on this. The most of what you talked about in your last post is way over my head. I'm just skimming trough earlier posts and trying to find solutions that work for the model I'm working on at the moment. And I had just made a dress for Posette quiet simulair to the one Somnifer made and the metod I used worked quiet good on that one. I know that there is better ways to do it, but it is the modelling part I like not the conforming. So when I get it to work I'm satisfied. This is also the reason to why I will buy your program aswell. Can't you do one that will group the modells for us to then my life would be perfect(hi hi !!). One question: if you should conform a dress like this by hand would you use a excisting dress CR2 or Posettes own? Thanks again! --Magnus--

O sorry, missed your post Kattman, I always use the obj_file from the geometries folder. I think you said earlier that P-Wizard use the characters CR2(Posettes) and not the clothes. So with your program this problem would not happen. But when I load some of Posette's cloths the will first land behind her(or infront can't reememder)and I think this is why I have to do this the hard way explaind in my last post. Cause I never had this problem with Mike and his clothes will be put in the right place when loaded(if mike is zeroed) --Magnus--

The problem is that if you import an obj_file and fit it to Posette It won't conform correctly the cordinates wont match the CR2_file. But if you do it like this: (I'll suggest that you use the cr2 for the "thinStrapDress") 1. Open the thinStrapDress from the library. 2. Zero this. 3. Open Posette and zero her. 4. Move Posette so she fits inside the dress. 5. When she's perfect inside the dress, delete the dress. 6. Move and scale this without chengen the location of Posette until its right as you wan't it. 7. All thats left is to delete Possete, spawn the props for your dress and export. 8. Use a copy of the thinStrapDress for your dress. Let me know if it still won't work. And I'll try to see if it's something else. Hope this helps! --Magnus--

Hi Kattman, I've talked to you before and I am going to send you a file for a cloth item for Mike. Just havn't desided witch yet(had alot to do last week). No to my thought: Would'nt P-Wizard require that you model the dress around a Posette that is exported from poser and not the obj_file from the character folder? This since they are placed in a slight different position in poser(very anoing). This is not a critisism to your program at all(I don't even have yet, But will proberbly buy as son as my money come in), it was just a tought so that we will know witch Posette to use! --Magnus--

One more thing then I stop "babbeling"!!!. Wen't to see your old post about conforming and I think that point 4-6(in my first post here) would solve your problem. This is a problem I never had with Mike and could't understand at all what was wrong at first. --Magnus--

To conform for posette made my head ache at first. 1. But I would recomend you to open one of posettes dresses in ypur modelling program so you'll see how it's grouped, two of the dresses are tveaked in the upper part but that dosn't matter at all. 2. Next thing would be to make the groups. I do this in my modelling program(C4D). Others do it in poser. 3. Give the differnt groups the exact name as posette (I'll use one of posettes dresses CR2) 4. Open poser load posette and the dress that has the CR2 you'll use. 5. Zero both figures. And move Posette!!!!(not the dress) so she will fit in the dress. 6. Delete the dress and import your own dress. Move this so it fits Posette. 7. Delete Posette and spawn the props(in group tool) of your dress 8. Export your dress as a new obj file and make sure that it's only the different parts of the dress that are marked(not universe or anything else) 9 Make a copy of the CR2 that you'll use and open it in word pad. In the beginin of the file there is two!!! paths to where the obj_file is. Change them so that they will point at your obj_file insteed. In the bottom of the CR2 you will find al information about material delete all of them except the data concerinig the preview material. A little bit up in the file you'll find the name witch you could change to what ever you want. 10 In poser you will now have your conf. dress in the library you put it in. 11. Put it on posette and see if it works! It's pretty hard to explain this here, but this is the basic idea and I have started a week ago to make a tutorial about just how to do a dress in C4D for posette. Since there where so few about doing clothes in Cinema. This will be extreamly basic since I'm still quite a beginner myself. But it will contain loods of pictures and I'll explain how to conform this way aswell. The problem is that I'll go away for a vacation for a week or so now. And I don't have time to finish it before. So I try to have it done the week after that. --Magnus--
