Thanks, that may be it... This is a new computer and I reloaded Bryce but not the upgrade. Yep, that got it. Thanks again. Michael

That is what I was doing... And I just tried it again and I get a default tree ar 0.0.0 not th list of trees I remember. I haven't used Bryce for a while, but as I recall the trees I got from the list were better than what I get if I start with the default and pick the leaf and tree type.

OK, Thanks to you all. I hadn't checkeked the "Solid when Boolean Rendering" boxes. I hadn't known they were there. It worked fine after I checked them. Michael

Hi, Lin, I am looking for a way to preview or quick render a part of the animation... every time I use the feature you describe, it starts from the beginning. Do you know a way to just preview a section? Michael

Thanks Aldaron, but if I understand what you are saying, it won't give me a fade over a period of time, but a blink-in blink-out. I was looking more for a transparency transition. Any ideas? Michael
