RHaseltine, thank you for your response! Everything you said makes sense, and I went back over my installation process again based on input from you and everyone here. I have now successfully installed content from Renderosity (from several vendors) into DAZ. Not exactly sure what my mistake was (I must have made it several times, though), but your response prompted me to go though it again. Cheers!
Thread: How to install Renderosity purchase in DAZ3D? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
So sorry to start this conversation again, but I have read several threads about installing Renderosity Content into DAZ Studio (v_4.15) on a Windows 10 machine. I have tried all the methods I have read about (to the best of my ability, mind you), and nothing has worked so far. I am a longtime Poser user, but trying to move into DAZ. I will admit to being a monkey with a keyboard (no offense to monkys), so the idea of trying a python script-based approach is daunting. I'm generally good at installing and moving files in the Runtime folders, but no luck here. I've tried copying into the root folder directly (MY DAZ 3D Library) and manually distributing the files into the the correct Runtime/Library folders. None of these have had positive results for me. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. If someone has a clue where my approach is failing, I would be very grateful.
