Excellent wording, and I had to read it several times! It does read like a song, and I would love to hear it set to music, something haunting and painfilled would fit this piece perfectly! More please;) And btw..thank you for your comment on Letting Go..fly by night writers who jot down ideas off the cuff are respected by me! And of course all writers -trots on out before making things worse =D-

-smiles- thank you for the suggestion, Shoshanna. I certainly meant nothing by the word in question, it simply was the word that came out on paper. I usually just let the pen, pencil, crayon, or fingers on keyboard direct my thoughts, hence the rambling nature of my prose at times, because I have found that the raw emotion of a person shows up more plainly if its not changed and then changed again. I hope I have not offended any with my choice of words... and thank you for your advice.

I thank you all for your comments. Death is never an easy thing to face, especially of one you care for so deeply. The pain may lessen over time, yet it never truly goes away. That is why I wrote this...not only to maybe somehow help myself by remembering Danny in my own way, but by reminding myself that he is free from the suffering and cares of this life, and hopefully in a better place...and that, if I am lucky, I will see him again. And if I never do..he is in everything around me. I only hope that others find comfort in those simple words, and that they help someone the way they helped me to write. :)
