There's something familiar about some of these tutorials, like I've seen the procedures and steps somewhere before.
100% original are they?

In that case, delete the node called 'water wave' - click on it to select (red highlight around it) then hit delete on your keyboard.

Thread: Where are the buildings??? | Forum: Vue
Yep, I agree with Bruno -Â I looked at the tutorial you are talking about and the models shown are not ones that come as standard with Vue.
You can see that the folder structure is the tutorial makers personal folder, and that the models are imported from Lightwave and saved as vob format files.
The tutorial is just showing you how to replace a cube with an object in Vue.

Thread: Can't Buy anything From Cornucopia3D's website | Forum: Vue
Quote - Have you posted at the Cornucopia3D website Store Talk forum for help? Or emailed their support team at support@cornucopia3d.com ?
I'm curious about that too.... Why come here to report a problem without raising the issue with the Store Admin at Cornucopia3D first?

Thread: Just to let you know: I am selling my Vue Infinite ! | Forum: Vue
Quote - Indeed. Rather worrying, isn't it.
Maybe we should send a bill to E-on for the use of our hardware ? :-)
Nice thought, unfortunately E-on aren't using your hardware.
You could try rental of disk space, I suppose.
Thread: Eovia Corp aquired by DAZ | Forum: Vue
As Mark says, you don't need to be a registered user to visit and use the forums, just register at the site - like here, RDNA, DAZ, oh and like at your site.
True, you need to have a registered copy of Vue before you can buy and use the content, but seeing as all users of Vue should have a registered copy, so that they can get the updates, I don't see how this is a problem. Unless you are suggesting this is a wrong thing and it's the right of warez users to get the same benefits as people who have spent their money?
C3D has has never suggested it was anything other than a Vue Content store, aiming at a specific market.
And as to the export issue, as that's really the crux of the whole encryption debate, E-on have stated their policy on that. I know that you and several other Vue users have taken offence at their position that and choose to piss on the C3D site at every opportunity because of it . But hey, that's your right and I ain't going to try and stop you.
I'm just suggesting that people should be allowed to make their own minds up. Â
And to confirm Mark's second point - yes, most items are available in encypted and unencrypted versions, and brokered content may or may not be locked for export, at the brokers discretion.

Yep, we're just a store, we can't see into the future, but we are pretty quick with new announcements from E-on (as they own C3D) and we do have a few forums and the Xstream plugin is discussed there.
I would suggest that people should go there and judge our reliability for themselves.

Thread: V5I vs. Poser 6 | Forum: Vue
Disable 'external binary morphs' in Poser 6 before saving for export to Vue
When importing, uncheck 'Quarterion Interpolation'
Both these can effect morphs importing correctly in Vue.
As to textures, well it is pretty much a given that some adjustment will be needed in Vue, mainly because Poser uses black as the highlight colour and cranks up the strength, whereas Vue expects white for the highlight. So...
1 Check and adjust the highlight colour and setting for each material you don't like the look of.
 2. Adjust the reflectivity of any material that is shinier than expected.
These are just general solutions to the more common problems; If you could be more specific about your problem, it might be easier to answer.Â

Thread: Just to let you know: I am selling my Vue Infinite ! | Forum: Vue
No problem selling it I suppose, just that the buyer probably won't be able to register it properly if it is a sidegrade/upgrade version, nor will they be able to take advantage of any future upgrade/sidegrades themselves.
As to license transfers, that would be up to E-on, and as far as statutory rights are concerned, I'd like to see which ones you think apply - no ones stopping you selling it, just that the buyer might not get a fully functioning item because it was for your personal use only (the EULA).
Which is what was meant by Cheers when he said did you check with E-on.
Thread: Vue and its problems | Forum: Vue
Quote - What i dont understand is how you can export Poser imported files to VOB... as far as i know they are locked to avoid copyright infrigments so that wont work.
In Poser you can't export as VOB.
In Vue, you can save an imported PZ3 as a VOB.

Don't import Poser objects as PZ3, save them as .VOB first and then bring them in, and remember to "collapse identical materials" as you do so.
What Lord Wexford means is don't import as PZ3 straight into your scene if you are having resource issues, import the PZ3 into a new scene, save it as a VOB from there and then you can load this VOB into your scene.

No problems here with the manual install. The Auto caused a few issues, but a reinstallation of the manual one cleared that up.
Thread: Free Vue PencilSketch Renderer | Forum: Vue
Iloco, have you tried rendering in a new window after running the script? I tried it with the quick render option, but it didn't work - tried it in a new window and it worked OK. Also, it converts the render to the pencilsketch mode after the render has finished.
