Why would I pay for something I've already paid for? When RuntimeDNA was bought by DAZ, DAZ had no problem adding purchases from RDNA to our accounts. Even Hivewire3D was able to do that when some of the RDNA vendors moved to their store. All WITHOUT charging the customer.

I've backed up all of my purchases from CP, but backups CAN fail. I'd like to know I can still recover some of these files, should that happen.

I took a look at one of the models, and it very clearly uses V3 textures, which means the model is V3, which is a violation of the DAZ Licensing Agreement.  I would not download anything from this site.

I have to say, this was a sad development for me.  Smith Micro has been adding some pretty cool tools to Poser, which make it a really attractive program (I'm currently using PPro 2014).  But, if their set on using this auto-deactivation thing for future releases, I may be done with Poser.  I get the anti-piracy thing, but setting up the program to de-activate on paid customers is ridiculous.  As bagginsbill said, there's already a hack to get around it, and there always will be, no matter how sophisticated the anti-piracy measure.  Remember Lightwave and their software dongles?  You had to have a physical attachment to the computer to use their product, and pirates STILL managed to hack the software.

 Punishing paying customers is not the way to defeat software piracy.  Finding and punishing the sources of software hacks is.

For me, the big issue is that these are V4 Characters, and I've gone almost completely over to Genesis 2.  As a result, your characters have just kind of faded out for me.  I'll probably get the Reese sisters at some point, but most of my budget is now going to Genesis 2 and other content.

The other issue I have is that Perez doesn't include multiple ages.  I've come to associate your name with multi-age character packs, which you do incredibly well (even before S4 came out ;)), but without that element, Perez is just another V4 Character, which I have way too many of as is.

The final issue I have is fitting clothing to your characters, especially the younger ones.  Most clothing don't include the S4 and Elite morphs, and the morph transfer processes in DS and Poser don't always do the best job of fitting clothing  properly.  Add to that the often mature nature of V4 clothing, and it's hard to find outfits appropriate for the younger characters as well. 

Just found out this morning (Saturday, February 28) that my card had been hacked,  Only made three online purchases, one here at Rendo, two over at DAZ3D.  Don't know where the hack occurred, but I've contacted both sites about it.

 Fortunately, my bank caught everything and denied the charges before I was hurt by it, but still, pretty frustrating having to set up a new card. 

 What worries me is the quick "we don't store credit card info, data entered is heavily encrypted, so sorry" response I got from Rendo.  Nearly word for word the same response Lyne got at the start of the thread.  I can't say that I'm reassured about the safety of shopping here.

I'll probably be switching to PayPal for online purchases from now on, though I hate how long it takes for things to process.

 DAMN!!  According to this page, it's a WIP Suit by Blackhearted.  Which means it likely will never see the light of day.  Unless anyone knows of another site he releases stuff on?

And yes, the white suit in the last promo is the same one I'm looking for.

Nothing's going on except there are some early bugs. Which is entirely predictable.  Same thing happened at DAZ all the time.  (Remember them forgetting the Genesis 2 base when they launched Vicky 6?) 

Me, I usually try to wait a few hours until the bugs are ironed out.

Except I got the Genesis 2 starter essentials with no problems.  In any case, I've confirmed with my bank that they've been having issues since before I placed the order.  It was just extremely suspicious that both Hivewire AND My bank's website were having problems simultaneously.

I'm just frustrated because I can't download my purchase.

OK, now sh^t is getting suspicious.  I just spent 45 dollars to buy the Dawn starter package, and now, not only is the hivewire site not loading - it keeps throwing a php error - but now I can't log in to my bank account.

Somebody BETTER start explaining what's going on, or I'm gonna go postal.
