Thread: 18th Century Clobber for Mike: New in the MP | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Does the hair export out well to other programs ?(for example Bryce)It's quite big bucks but certainly looks stunning_ gives a great 'wild man' look. I'm gonna have to shift a few of these dress coat sets to get it on my download list! Back to work!

Hi Richard! Yep I'm gonna have a go this w/e on the texture set for you.The Long Coat conforms well with Mike_ but as you see its quite closely applied so it does'nt hang away from the body like (we hope) Poser 5's dynamic cloth will! I like the look of your Henry Morgan too_the hat and boots are brilliant_I realize the hair/beard is post produced but if you could model that in P5 _ wooooh!

Here's the Naval Texture set link. If you only fancy the naval set wait a few days and it will be in the MP as a complete model set.Thread: Historical Clothing for Mike 2_ Naval Uniform Set_coming soon | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase

Well you guys the first paired set is in the market today. The reverse pair hopefully tomorrow. Richard_ I'll try and get the Pirate stuff zipped up and on my own site with a free stuff link soon. I'm happy to work on the textures but don't think I can face more modelling _ now if you wanted to develop some morph targets for those sleeves....;-)Thread: Has anyone bought the Mil-Dragon MapPak? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think you'd have a good case if you asked DAZ to supply you with the file seperately (if you didn't want to upgrade to the full Dragon)_ if its on their sales description the 'goods' are incomplete without it. BTW if you can afford it do upgrade_ the full beasty is wonderful!Haven't fully explored it yet but there's a ton of morphs and the esipose dials (although they take a little getting used to) seem great.

Just had a (closer) look at the Readme's. Imran does acknowledge Bat Lab in two of his models (they're modified to fit Vickie)The title includes the Bat_ but it wasn't v clear on download. Are the chinadress and 'new' sets his creation or modified meshes? I rather regret having started this thread! Put it down to my inexperience :-/

Oh dear_ in that case I won't repost until that's clarified. I'm keen to give credit where its due but would hate to 'give succour.....' Could you clarify Jeff and post us a link to check it out? (to Bat Lab) I thought I'd been there but can't remember these models.

I don't know if this is the one you've seen- but have a look at this superb model by the Hankster_ it really is as good as it looks and at that price is a real bargain. Models are in Pending at the present so barring unforseen problems should be within the next week or so.Thread: Historical Clothing for Mike 2_ Naval Uniform Set_coming soon | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Having gone back to my source pics I think you're right it is riding a bit high. Models in 'pending' so it will have to be a manual adjustment I'm afraid!

Hi Luke27, have a look over at rDNA. Xurge has been running a forum/interactive tutorial on designing conformig clothes in Rhino_ it may not be your modeller of choice but there's some really great tips that may be appliable to other modellersThread: Historical Clothing for Mike 2_ Naval Uniform Set_coming soon | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Great!! Nice pics. The uniform won't be quite right but I could work on a texture to give a general impression. The hair I'm afraid might be beyond me at present! Thanks all for the feedback_ glad you like the stuff. Its my first attempt at conforming clothing (my field being mostly natural history models) I got the Osprey book of Nelson's Navy costumes and just had to have a go! I'll post here once they come out of testing in to the market place. Thanks again.
