Looks good, but yes too light a specular colour on the hair will wash it out, as will a light coloured transmission if you used glossy translucent.

Did you try to set the Geometry format to: Lux native on the Output tab? That was the solution for the problem I had the other day. Doc pointed me to this solution.

Reality wasn't even opening up in DAZ Studio :(

Curiously, I opened up Windows Task Manager and found 2 daz studio processes trying to run. Closed those and now everythin works fine again. Colour me puzzled!

At least everything is working again lol

The crazy thing is, I was using Reality last night! I know everything is up to date. 

Only now I can't seem to change anything in the file either. hmmm. 

OK, having a little bit of a problem. Reality 2 isn't opening up at all. It always used to open up instantly but now nothing, even after 10 minutes of waiting.

Any ideas?

Looks cool, I have Terragen but I've never played with it! Shame the free version is limited but I can understand why!

Here's a lava preset from Infinito used with Reality.Lighting is IBL and the Infinito terrain converted to a lightsource. Old render but really helps show off how well they both plug ins work together :D

Infinito plug in. It generates obj terrains in DS that you can use to render with Reality. It's also very user friendly with lots of tutorials and presets like desert, snow, mountains.

I was gonna ask why I was having problems with the new Reality update, but it turns out I haven't updated DS :P

Save times have improved drastically for me and I think over all it runs pretty well, much faster than 4.0 in my opinion. Fortunately Reality and Infinito are the only plug-ins that I use these days.

If all your plug-ins are green then you're good to go. Theres a list on the DAZ forums (in the commons) that says which plug ins have been updated and where/how you can download the updated version if required eg. reset DAZ downloads.
