Didn't uninstall and no problems, just had to select my content folder to be the same as in my current setup - on my D drive. Files are all there.

For the record, installed and no problems. Kept my previous files and content directories. Opened and closed twice without any strange, weird, scary messages, so fingers crossed that it's full steam ahead.
