I found the pdf instructions in Poser 5 -> ReadMe's -> ProductLists. I had to open the pdf directly. Initially, when I installed XprssnMagic, I was given a link to the guide, which didn't work.

Thank you for your help, I still can't find the pdf instructions. I don't know why I would need them, but it would be nice to see what they look like. As for XprssnMagic, it works just fine now. I didn't realize that I had to the Pose menu & double-click the morphs to load them. I'm just getting used to v5.0.

Thank you, I don't have any antivirus software on the computer, but i can check to see what else was running while i installed poser 5. There shouldn't have been anything more than a couple background programs, such as the epson printer & hp scanner monitors.

Wow...alot of good info here - some things for me to discuss with tech support, if need be. I'm using a dial-up on my primary work computer (the computer with poser on it)If i had dsl on it i fear that i wouldn't get much work done...;)

Mine is an upgrade from poser 4 as well. Some strange, inane little setting must be turned on or off somewhere on my computer. Why else would I apparently be the only one experiencing this problem. Hey, once i get into poser it works great. Maybe with my next additional authorization I'll leave Poser open indefinitely. WinXP hasn't crashed on me yet (almost a year later), so it's possible....;>) As for your mouse reboot situation...well I've just found that if I have 1 gb ram the computer doesn't act up.

Yeah, I just checked the user account settings. Apparently I am the computer administrator...a lofty position carrying much responsibility. (There are no other accounts, as no one else uses this machine.) As for firewalls I would assume that I don't have one since I've never installed one. Phil

reply to : I have gotten the message "You have moved your mouse, please reboot so that windoze changes can take effect." ------------------------------------------------- You're kidding me. That's hilarious. Mine is just stuck in a reauthorization loop.
